Had a great time. House was very bright and spacious. Beautiful area. Loved hanging at the water - fishing, crabbing. Close to many restaurants. Short drive to the beach and boardwalk.

This was a great space for our family of 11! The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable. We had a great time enjoying meals, playing games, and unwinding after long days at the beach! Will definitely come back if we have another big group vacation.

Beautiful canal front property located near the beach, restaurants, and family activities. The home is spacious for large families, located in a quiet neighborhood. The men loved fishing and crabbing off the dock. The house could use some TLC. We had paid extra for early check in however cleaners were still present when we arrived, the upstairs dryer didn’t work but thankfully there was another one on the lower level. Besides those small things the property was perfect for our vacation and I would definitely rent it again.

Some of the beds were unteneable and really ruined the experience for a few of us. Also the grease tray on the grill never gets cleaned and grease is dripping on the patio below and was unpleasant. Replace the bed slats and focus on keeping the grill from dripping grease and I'd give it 5 stars with how nice everything else was considering the price. Staff was also very responsive and professional but there wasn't anything they could do about the bed situation.

Relaxing on the Bay

Our stay began with an HVAC issue that made things a bit challenging at first, especially since we had traveled several hours to celebrate my mother’s 62nd birthday. It was a disappointing start, but thankfully, things turned around.The home is truly beautiful and had everything we needed for a special family trip. We all had a relaxing time. Most of all, Zach was fantastic, kind, responsive, genuinely attentive to our needs and a blessing. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, and we truly appreciated his support.Thanks to his help, we were able to enjoy our time together and create wonderful memories.

The property is in a perfect location. Right on a canal, this was beautiful spot to enjoy the deck swing. With the street being near a dead end, it was great for our kids to ride scooters and bikes close to the home. We were able to get to the Fenwick beach in under 10 mins. That beach is beautiful and far less crowded than Rehoboth and Ocean City MD. Still, when we wanted to check out the boardwalk in OC, it wasn't a far drive at all.The home itself is beautiful. The 6 bedrooms (2 per floor) / 4 bathrooms allowed everyone in our group to have quiet space, with some privacy; no one ever needed to wait long to shower. Enough tvs for us to unwind with a movie or show at the end of the day without needing the consensus whole group. AC great for summer heat. Things that disappointed us: *Home wasn't well cleaned before our arrival: kitchen floor not swept well. Shower curtains had mildew on them, dirty microwave.*Broken Keurig*Little things that added up: not every bathroom had a wastebasket. Light fixtures were dusty. *Exterior photos depicted grassy area on the side of the house. Upon arrival, we saw that wasn't a yard belonging to this house. Construction was underway and foundation for new home built, removing the space we would have played in*There wasn't enough seating for our group to eat together. We pulled bedroom chairs, and utilized the bar stools, and were still short.*Kitchen lacked basics like hand mixer, veggie peeler, baster/brush, cookie sheet

While the Salty Sands rep went above & beyond to help with my issues. The owner of this property needs to maintain it and be held accountable. The house needs a deep deep clean throughout, bed spreads need to be replaced in Master & upstairs bedrooms, air vents need to be cleaned, blind slats need to be replaced in main living area, outdoor patio and deck areas need to be power washed. It's a large property on the bay and could be first rate, but it needs cleaning and proper maintenance. The actual owner has not yet given me the courtesy of a direct response and its now two weeks since we checked out.
