This home and another home by the same owner, just a few doors down, worked perfect for our multi-family trip to St Charles for a dance competition. Both homes are less than 10 minutes from the convention center. The 6 girls were all able to stay in the bunk room and the adjoining bedroom. The secondary bedrooms are a bit small, so we used one for all of their suitcases, etc. and they used the other 2 for sleeping and all shared the 1 bathroom on that end of the house. We had 1 set of adults stay in the master bedroom and the other 4 families stayed at the other house. It worked well! We didn't use the hot tub at this home and only went in the game room for a couple of hours because it was toasty. We spent the majority of our free time at the other property. The home is clean and has a great layout. It would be perfect for 1-2 families. My only suggestion would be that the kitchen could be stocked a little better with cookware. I wanted to make pancakes the 1st morning there, and I had to cook 1 at a time on a warped 8" square griddle. We also borrowed a strainer for pasta from the other home we had rented. It could just use spatulas and a few more amenities in the kitchen:-) All in all a good stay, and would stay here again if in the area.

Susan, thanks for the feedback. We didn’t hear anything from you about the cookware. Full transparency, all of our cookware was purchased last year. I didn’t see any “warped” pans. Good news. Nice Home

Overall, this was a very nice place to stay. Three of the four bedrooms has TVs. The living room TV had several streaming apps with subscriptions already set up. The place has a separate game room across the driveway, though the game room has a small A/C unit that only keeps the room semi-cool. But my kids enjoyed the air hockey table and other games in the room! The house also has a hot tub.The place was clean. It was in a nice neighborhood. It's near a nice area with a couple of modern shops and restaurants.I would rate our overall stay as 4.5 out of 5. The guest bathroom's tub did not drain very well. We notified the owner who sent someone over the next morning to unclog it. However, the tub still didn't drain very well after that. Also, the house only has plastic plates and bowls, which is a problem when you need to microwave something. It would be helpful for the kitchen to have some glass plates and bowls that can safely be used in a microwave. Aside from the two items above, we had an excellent stay. Our family enjoyed the spacious home and its game room. The host was easy to contact.
