Cozy Log Cabin by the beach

Escape from everything in this quiet nook of Preston Beach. The log cabin is just ten minutes walk from the beach, listen to the crash of the waves as you sip a chilled beer in summer or snuggle up by the log fire in winter. This cabin is perfect for a couple and a dog just 1.5 hrs south of Perth!
Please note this is a log cabin, it's nestled in nature, we have renovated it using recycled wood from the salvage yard, up cycled furniture and Op Shop everything else - a real mid century vibe! This cabin has one large bedroom including a king size bed. Bathroom with bath, shower, toilet, washing machine, fridge freezer. The kitchen has a 900 chef oven and all the things you need to cook.( I am a chef 😊 )
The lounge has 2 mid century recliner chairs, log fire, reverse cycle air con, 2 x large couches and a large dining table.
There is no wifi however most networks receive signal and there is a chrome cast so you can cast shows using your hotspot.
There is no mainstream TV, however there is a dvd player, dvd’s and a selection of games.
Out the back there are two hammocks and a leafy back garden perfect for dogs.
Out the front is a large deck with comfy seats and another hammock. Plenty of parking with steps up to the property.

There are steps up to the property so maybe not suitable for anyone unsteady on their feet. This is a log cabin, it is rustic! Please expect to be immersed in nature. With bird seeds to put on the bird feeder (in the bread bin) you will have galah’s, magpies and 28 Parrots visiting. As well as Kookaburras and if your lucky you will see the family of BooBook owls that nest in our front tree. We do have some ‘locals’ living in the roof so you may hear them going about their day. I have named the skink Idris and his new girlfriend is Elba 🥰

We welcome dogs, there is an enclosed back garden and doggy door.

We don't mind dry dogs on the couch but PLEASE, if they are soggy doggy's, please put down some towels or make sure they are dry first :)

There are 2 dog bed's in the cabin so you don't need to bring your own.

Unfortunately the property IS NOT suitable for children so ADULTS ONLY please.

Preston Beach is surrounded by trees and is a high fire risk area.
So please absolutely NO fire pits 1st Oct - 15th May outside.
Our neighbour Don will sniff one out in seconds and come and tell you off, he's part of the voluntary fire brigade.
Log fires inside during winter please go for it :)
Also please NO CANDLES inside.
Only citronella candles outside if on a table and blown out after.

Footprints resort is good for a meal at the weekend check their website for opening times.
The shop at the local servo next to Footprints has been taken over and has a decent shop at last. Check if they have fuel by calling first.
