City of Kaštela is situated in Kastela Bay, between the island Ciovo and the Marjan peninsula, between the towns of Trogir and Split. It is natural to the area, protected by the mountain Kozjak from the north and surrounded by the central Dalmatian islands from the south, so it is not surprising that the prehistory of man's refuge.
