This was our 5th year staying in this wonderful house. We just love the backyard, the quiet walk to the beach and how easy the house is to stay in and use.
Perfect getaway in a private, comfortable house, with a set up great for younger and older kids. Walk to the private beach was gorgeous and the beach itself was breathtaking. Check-in/out was uncomplicated and quick. Highly recommend!
Lovely spot, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds and big comfy couch to hang out on, well stocked kitchen and wagon to take down to the beach. We enjoyed spending time in the yard as well. The private bay beach, a short walk from the house is an amazing beach with great swimming! We miss it already...Ariel was a wonderful host and very responsive.
My nephew, his wife and 4 kids all loved the house. It was large, open and airy. My nephew's wife loved the outdoor shower, hammock and general outdoor setting.
The bedrooms were huge and very comfortable. The kitchen was well outfitted and the washer/dryer were very convenient for loads of laundry for the kids clothes.
It was in a convenient location and close to our house in Provincetown.
The only small complaint from one of the kids was the slow internet.
The house was nicely furnished, well equipped, comfortable a perfectly clean. But we paid more than $800.00 a night for three nights, and nothing Justin’s that price.
The owner was pleasant, readily accessible and helpful.
The advertising promised a 7-minute walk to a beach, but the reality must be closer to 15-Minutes. We never did find the path to the beach.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad you found the house clean, comfortable and well-equipped. I’m so sorry about not finding the beach path and wish you reached out; there’s a map posted at the house just outside the kitchen and I can also send it over the app. Time to this beach is based on average walking time on google maps which of course can be variable.

Family trip with 5 adults, 2 new babies: 4-month-old and 6-month old
Having a gorgeous beach that we could walk to made it an easy and enjoyable trip for the little girls--and therefore the rest of us! Having the wagon in the garage for bringing stuff to the beach was a big help. We didn't go to any other beach during our week. The water was warm on the bay side--perfect introduction to 'swimming' and the adults loved it too. Appreciated that if we were in different rooms we didn't overhear each other, and that the common spaces were comfortable for enjoying being together. As can be expected, there were a few things we could have used--no serving spoons in the otherwise fairly well-stocked kitchen, and 2 of the beach chairs were ready for replacements, but overall our stay was terrific. The space was very comfortable. Great to have a dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. And we loved the outdoor shower!

So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! I'll make sure the worn beach chairs are replaced and there are serving spoons in the kitchen. Thanks again!
This is a wonderful location in Truro. The house was clean and has plenty of space in the three rooms. However, you need to bring EVERYTHING
We were informed we had to bring our own bath and beach towels. Okay no problem.
But we also should have brought; shampoo/body wash, laundry detergent… and it you want to use the kitchen or grill you would need to bring any and all pantry items you can think of; oil, salt/pepper, aluminum foil, etc etc. The kitchen is not stocked at all. I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and never have we encounter a more sparse kitchen set up than this one. Also, never had a house that had washer/dryer but no detergent or dryer sheets.
Good price for the house, just beware you need to really think about what you need, or be prepared to go out and buy things you already have at home.

We're glad you enjoyed the location and found the house clean and spacious. The listing accurately covers amenities provided. Additionally, we provide items not mentioned such as starter paper towels, toilet paper, sponges, dishwasher pods, extra trash bags, guest soaps, sheets, etc.
Renting culture in Truro ranges from bare minimum provided (guests responsible nearly all items including sheets) to corporate operated luxury experiences. I recommend checking with your host if having pantry items is essential for the enjoyment of your stay.
Thanks for the lovely note in the guestbook! So glad you enjoyed your stay!

This was our first time renting in N. Truro, as it is closer to Provincetown. The house is on a quiet street, surrounded by oak and pine trees. Down the road is the path to the bay where we walked every day. We found our 3 rooms to be comfortable and cozy. The house is solid so when moving around we didn't disturb each other. We enjoyed the kitchen and dining area and the great access to our favorite movie sites on the TV. The house invites guests to be casual and comfortable. The sofa is huge and fine for 3 adults. There is an excellent library available. We would love to rent again.
We had a great time at Ariel's beautiful private property. Ariel left very clear instructions which helped us get settled in quickly. The property is close to Provincetown yet is still in a private setting. My family and I enjoyed the short walk to the private beach. We highly recommend this property!
It was a great place for our family vacation on the Cape. The private beach was a relatively easy walk and the access to the highway to go to the ocean Beach was close by and the drive to P-town was only about 15 minutes. We all loved the house and enjoyed the outdoor seating and the hammock was a nice touch too.
Un chalet très confortable, chaleureux et parfaitement situé. La plage est WoW!
Nous espérons y retourner dans une période plus chaude pour goûter à la mer.
On a quiet road the beach is a short walk, which we took in a light rain and never got wet, the coverage of trees and the sound of the rain on them so soothing. You do have to walk down quite a few steps to the beach but it is lovely. The house immediately felt like home, spacious and well equipped. I usually have issues with beds but they are very comfortable. The fireplace definitely a plus since we had a few chilly nights. Any questions I had Ariel answered promptly. Nice winery/distillery Truro Vineyards and Montano’s Restaurant are both close by the food at Montano’s was excellent. P-Town is about 10 minutes away a good location on the Cape. Highly recommended for a relaxing time.

About the host
Hosted by Ariel H-S
Growing up in central Massachusetts, my family vacationed for two weeks every summer in Truro. My parents rented a cottage overlooking the bay, just a mile down the beach from this house. This beach is one of my favorite places on earth, with its rustic Atlantic feel and unique sunset over Provincetown in the distance.
The house was renovated and fully occupied for its first summer renting in 2017. Online reviews and handwritten notes in the guestbook speak to the wonderful vacations had by families and groups of friends.
