Watch the sunsets from nearly any vantage point along the beach and see the Friday night fireworks from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The nearby neighborhood includes several major hotels and numerous large and small restaurants and nightclubs that cater to every nationality. Ask the kamaaina (locals) for their tips. The Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and other “World Class Shopping” may be found on Kalakaua Avenue (the street fronting the beach). Public Transportation bus stops are located nearby and open the whole island to you. Parking is available onsite and is located in the below street level garage. Daily parking fees are approx. $30 per 24 hours. Payment options may be selected at the vending kiosk located at the top of the ramp. But who needs a car in Waikiki? Everything is in walking distance. But if you have an itch to venture out, the island's bus transit system is awesome.

Perfect location and the place was really nice! Only two blocks from the beach and right next to stores and amazing food and coffee! Clear communication with the host - all easy to do!
We are a couple on the go,. This was perfect for us, quite relaxing place to come home to after a long day of activities. We stayed 10 days and it was wonderful!
We loved the location of this property. Watching surfers at dawn from our lanai while drinking our coffee was so cool. We could walk one block to the beach by the big banyan tree, and the heart of Waikiki. Our biggest complaint about location is the noise of the garbage trucks during the night and roosters crowing at all hours. The room was tight and the towers are showing their age, but it met our needs.

Meets Expectations
The building was secure. It’s a bit older so there are quirks and things that need to be fixed. Don’t expect 5 star hotel! But the building felt very safe and the location was great. Overall we were very happy.

We were pretty disappointed in the quality of the room. It was very rundown and not very clean, all the baseboards and the walls are very dirty. The dresser was half falling apart every time we opened a drawer. The broom was half melted so you could hardly sweep with it. So it was very disappointing. My sister and brother in law stayed in the same building two floors down and paid the exact same amount per night and their room was not even comparable in the quality and care put into the space. I wouldn’t stay here again honestly. The only reason I don’t rate it lower is because the location was good.

About the host
Hosted by Richard Kelly
Aloha:) My name is Richard and I have been living in Hawaii for 10 years now. I am originally from Texas, so you'll notice the occasional "How y'all doing?". I am so happy to be living here in Hawaii and hope to live out the rest of my life in this amazing place. Over the last few of years I have had the pleasure of being involved in real estate and property management/vacation rentals. In my off time, I spend time taking care of my dog, Peanut, and enjoy spending time on the beach and hiking the mountains.
I have a deep passion for hosting guests who are visiting the islands and enjoy sharing with them my personal experiences and knowledge to enhance their stay here. I am always looking forward to the opportunity to host people from around the world and sharing our "Aloha" spirit with them!
