Cozy, humble cottage (250sqft) with large shared backyard, firepits (complimentary firewood), community grill & outdoor bar, and covered porch to look out on beautiful and historic Valcour Island. Hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, Ausable Chasm, and downtown Plattsburgh all less than 15 minutes away. Relaxing getaway with lovely views of the lake. Fold out futon in the small kitchen area if you don't mind sharing a cozy space with more friends or family!

A beautiful spot overlooking the channel and Valcour Island beyond. Impecably manicured common lawn area, fire pits and chairs, and even a hammock. Our cottage was spotless, snug and had 'just enough' of everything we needed as a couple. Greg was enormously welcoming, communicative and friendly. We look forward to coming back to Valcour Cottages again!

Cute location, could be cleaner

Location was great, water side, peaceful, great outdoor amenities. This interior needs some attention - shower pan grout was black, bathroom mirror coated in some type of film, no washcloth, no extra towels, dead insects on window sills and in cookware. Also, the listing should be updated - no restaurant within a "3 min walk"But, again, the property and exterior amenities like chairs, fireplaces, hammock were fantastic and the view was incredible

We really enjoyed our stay. These cottages are small but perfect. The shared grounds are great, with beautiful views of a recently renovated marina. Our host was kind and welcoming. All of our fellow cottage renters had dogs, so this is very pet friendly.
