Escape to Great Lake Haven, a charming bungalow-style cottage just a 6-minute walk to a private sandy beach on Lake Michigan! Nestled in a peaceful wooded neighborhood, this spacious retreat sleeps up to 10-12 guests, making it perfect for families and groups. It's located between the charming Village of Pentwater and the sand dunes of Silver Lake, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking a relaxing time on the lake.

Great Lake Haven has an open-concept layout with high ceilings and a loft overlooking the living area.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The master bedroom has a king-size bed for ultimate comfort. There's also a full bathroom with a tub and shower combination on the main level next to the master bedroom.

In the open loft, you'll find two double beds and a queen-size bed.

The lower, walk-out level has two futon couches that convert into double beds. It also has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Living Space and Kitchen

Great Lake Haven has a fully equipped kitchen that's perfect for cooking and gathering. The modern living room on the main floor is positioned for optimal viewing into the wooded backyard.

Outdoors

Relax on the furnished upper deck during your stay and enjoy a morning coffee or meal. We offer a grill, and there's a fire pit for s'mores and starry nights.

Beach Access

You may utilize our private association beach, which is a short 0.3-mile walk west on Range Road, across Ridge Rd. At the end, you will find the path to the 80 stairs to access Lake Michigan. Please see our pictures for the location of the staircase.

For boaters and kayakers, there's a launch 3.5 miles north on Pentwater Lake, which is accessible to Lake Michigan.

It is a beautiful wooded lot close to the beach on lake Michigan. Our stay was great. The carpets were a little dirty and the main floor bath tub didn't drain very well, but all together it was still fun

We are so happy you all had a great time! I am so sorry about the carpets and drain and wish you had told us about them before you checked out. We had not been made aware of a problem with the drain, but it will be fixed ASAP. We did notice the carpets could use a cleaning, but didn't want to have wet carpets when you checked in. We are getting them cleaned this week. We really hope you will come stay again.

Perfect Family Getaway

The location was fantastic. Just a short walk to the beach a short drive to Silverlake. The house was clean, well stocked and had a great layout. We had 10 people and a dog with us and plenty of space to spread out. The host was also great about responding to inquiries in a timely manner.

Annual Lake Michigan trip

The cottage was everything described. Clean with all the amenities we needed. Close to the dunes and the lake. FYI there are approximately 74 steps to the private beach area with a rest area in between flights. We caught a couple sunsets and our kids took a few sunset dips in the lake.

Cozy home with easy lake access

The house was the right size for our party of 10. The distance to the lake was a short walk, manageable even with younger children, and the house was close to a few different sites for site seeing. The host was super communicative on all questions.
