We couldn’t be happier with this rental. The location was perfect for all who came to celebrate our youngest son’s 21st birthday. For those that were done riding the dunes, the walk back to the rental was beautiful. Definitely will be booking here again.

Home was excellent! Jon was very helpful and allowed us to put our trailers in the driveway before our check in time so we could get out on the dunes. Great location that’s walking distance to the downtown area as well as a quick drive to the dunes. We are already talking about staying here again next year!

Jeep invasion

We stayed here with 7 adults for the Jeep Invasion. The house is very spacious and right on the canal, the owners have kyacks and a paddle boat for people to use. Very close to sand dunes.

Hello. My name is Jon. My wife and I live in Grand Rapids, about an hour and half away from our cottage. We built this cottage for ourselves, as a vacation place to get away from Grand Rapids every now and then. We are excited to be able to rent the cottage out and allow others to experience the beauty of this area and the fun and excitement of the Silver Lake Sand Dunes and surrounding areas.

Why they chose this property

If you've been to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes area before, you already know how amazing it is up here. If you haven't, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

From the inland lakes, to the beautiful Lake Michigan. There are the sand dunes, the restaurants, the light houses, and so much more. If you're anything like us, once you visit, you won't be able to get enough.

What makes this property unique

We purchased this land because we wanted lake access to Silver Lake and it was a prime location when it became available. And after a few years of sketching floor plans as a hobby, we finally had the one we wanted to build. I think you will appreciate the layout of the cottage, as well as the peaceful waterfront view.
