The Acadian HouseFor a sibling getaway, we booked this condo over an October weekend to attend the Festivals Acadiens et Créoles, which was held near the University. The condo was within 4 miles of the festival, and that was very convenient. We were extremely happy with the condo (& the condo community), and the siblings threw out these comments:Very clean, comfortable, and spacious. Great congregating space on LL with the open-concept living room/kitchen. Comfortable beds and living room furniture.Large TV in the living room, and a TV in each of the 2 larger bedrooms.Upstairs has an open area with the 3 bedrooms off of it; the open area includes a work & game area (working PacMan machine & NBA Jam).The MBR is huge & includes an en suite bathroom (shower & tub) and walk-in closet.The second MBR shares a Jack-And-Jill bathroom (shower & tub) with the 3rd bedroom (2 twin beds).There is a half bath off the living room, and that was very convenient to have on the main floor.All bedrooms & bathrooms are very nice.The back outdoor patio is quaint, and there is a privacy fence around the backyard. Parking is in an attached 2-car garage; additional parking is available in an outdoor parking lot within steps of the condo. The lot is part of the condo neighborhood open-parking. Great location to shops, restaurants, and the University.

Crawfish Festival

Came for long weekend enjoy Crawfish Festival. Property was excellent. Provided many extras great relaxing stay with great food service close. We will be back. Highly recommend Jerome

Excellent!

The Acadian house was perfect for our short stay. The enclosed backyard was also perfect for our dogs as this is a challenge and rare to find in Louisiana. Most houses in LA do not have enclosed backyards and don’t find this out until arriving. The mattresses were very comfortable and the house was super clean & well stocked! The host is helpful and responsive!

This property was extremely clean, easy access.. the house is new and very modern. Highly recommend to any one. The only note I would have is the stairs. All the bedrooms were on the second floor. Thanks
