About this property
A Quiet Town with a Fishing Problem. Great Way to Avoid Hotel/Motel Crowds!
Sleeps 6 comfortably with 3 king beds. Additional two couches for additional guests. My Grandfather bought this property in 1966 from the mayor of Daytona Beach. It was two lots with a two bedroom wooden home and a cinder block garage. In 2007 my father demolished the old home and built a beautiful two story river home, it is located 30 miles from Daytona Beach and 90 miles from Orlando. Dual stall covered boat lift for boats. One slip is available, additional slip is $50 per day. A great getaway for peace and quiet. Wet a hook or take a nice tranquil boat ride. The home is strictly a vacation home with never a permanent resident. It is very pristine and still looks brand new. 30 and 50amp camper hookup in the driveway. Additional $100 per day to hookup. All vacationers have been very impressed, commenting that my amateur photos do not do justice! Service is my main concern, I want to exceed all vacationers expectations! Great attractions to enjoy: World's Most Famous Beach(Daytona Beach) 10 miles from Volusia Speedway 30 miles from Daytona Speedway Daytona 500 Coke 400 Bike Week Biketoberfest Kennedy Space Center Disney World Universal Studious Animal Kingdom Sea World. 20 min boat ride to Silver Glenn Springs

We enjoyed our stay at Astor Paradise. The house was very clean and up-to-date. This was our second time staying. Would highly recommend Astor Paradise.
Great place! Pictures do not do it justice, the sunsets were beautiful and the fishing was great. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place and yet close to not so quiet getaways lol. We have already started planning next year’s trip.
The host was great very easy to get a hold of and accommodating. The property was very nice had all the amenities we would need. Nice neighborhood, close to everything on our list to do for the week. Would definitely stay again!!
Another great stay in Astor FL. The accommodations have always exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, creating a relaxing atmosphere from the moment we arrived. We especially appreciated how welcoming and attentive the host was—quick to communicate, helpful with local tips, and clearly committed to making the stay enjoyable. It all came together to make the trip feel effortless and genuinely memorable. Best of all we caught plenty of fish. Thanks again Dave!
Very nice property on the water with boat house and lift. Nice boat ride to Silver Glenn springs and Salt Springs. Saw several manatees next to the dock over the week stay. Very nicely stocked kitchen. Text the host once and he answered promptly.
