About the host
Hosted by Elena Mackenzie
We are originally from the Detroit area and decided to completely reinvent ourselves in our mid-thirties after having a mental breakdown working too many hours with not enough time together. So we took a leap of faith moving to Oscoda where Mother Huron called us to her healing shores. We have been together for almost 20 years and we have a beautiful daughter who loves to swim in the big waves. We enjoy creating sacred space for our guests to rest and create lasting memories.
Why they chose this property
The Lake is what drew us to Oscoda, but we stayed because of the amazing small-town community, the natural beauty that abounds and our shop To the Moon & Back where we host events, yoga and so much more!
What makes this property unique
We give space when needed and love interacting with those who wish it. This property is our home, so we want to feel like the cool, slightly eccentric Aunties that you haven't met yet! We believe in inclusive spaces 🌈
