Perfect stay. Far enough away to offer peace and solitude and close enough to all that Hilo and the area offers. Quite comfortable and the outdoor living room overlooking the pool and Pacific was fantastic.

Robyn’s little slice of heaven was exactly what we wanted! Perfect location, crashing oceanfront location, amazing views & the pool! So nice to swim & cool off after a warm day. We’ll be back!

Beautiful Mermaid cove

The rooms and location are as pictured, very clean with wonderful amenities. My bed was very comfortable and my Sons room had an adjustable bed. The view is beautiful, I enjoyed every sunrise just a few steps outside of my room. The location is outside of the hustle and bustle of town. still close enough

We had the most amazing time staying at Robyn’s place. The location was perfect with a stunning ocean front view. Just down the street is paradise cliffs which has beautiful ocean views and then Makuʻu Point was the perfect spot to watch the sunrise which is also within walking distance. The house was adorable and clean and worked perfectly for our girls trip. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were soft and we had several of them. The pool was nice and being able to swim and look out at the ocean was amazing . Robyn was an amazing host and responded to all my text quickly and was so friendly. I highly recommend staying here at Robyn’s place. You won’t regret it. I hope to be back soon

Warning there is NO kitchen, even though kitchen is listed. It is a microwave wave and a toaster oven with a “grill” on top which is located on a wooden cabinet shelf. No pots or pans for cooking. A rubber spatula is supplied for use with the grill on top of the toaster oven. Again it lists a “kitchen” in bold letters. Later on in the description you read it’s not a full kitchen, but it was misleading for us.The setting at the ocean and the decoration of the room was beautiful.

Very comfortable rooms. Pool and view were excellent. However, the hot tub wasn’t available. Possible Lala damage. Nevertheless we had a great stay.-Russ

This was the perfect resting spot for our stay on the Big Island. My family of 4 (daughters 18 & 20) found this home to be a dream while we explored Volcanos National Park. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud after a very long journey from Maryland. Using the outdoor shower while overlooking the Pacific is a top 10 moment for me. Robyn was very helpful and we would definitely recommend Mermaid's Lookout!
