In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 3, the maximum allowed occupancy is 6, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 3.

This Kiawah Island vacation rental is ideal for families and features 3 bedrooms, a sunroom, and a 7-minute walk to the beach. The cottage is shaded by live oaks and palmetto trees, setting a relaxing tone for your stay, yet is close to the beach and Night Heron Park.

The welcoming front porch encourages you to kick back and soak in the island beauty and breeze. The living area offers comfortable furnishings and opens to the sunroom. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area offers seating for six people. The fully equipped kitchen includes an additional table that seats four people.

The primary suite offers a king bed, private bath, flat screen television and access to the back deck. Two additional bedrooms – one with a king bed and another with a twin over queen bunk bed and flat screen television – share a hall bathroom.

The sunroom provides an additional sitting area with a sofa and accesses the back deck. The back deck offers seating for 2 and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Covered parking is available beneath the cottage.

The cottage is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

Great property!

This is the 2nd time here and we will continue to come back. I own the cottage a few doors down, so it's nice to be able to stay close with our groups. The cottage is beautifully updated and convenient to everything.

Great spot on Kiawah

We had a great time in Kiawah. The house came with a rental credit which was great for renting additional bikes, beach chairs, etc. We loved being able to park the car and ride our bikes just about everywhere we wanted to go. The proximity to the Nigh Heron Nature center was a bonus and we enjoyed several outdoor activities there. We can’t wait to go back!

There were hairs all over it. Also we saw **** roaches. No potholders for getting things out of the oven.

Doing home to Kiawah

My family have vacationed on Kiawah for over 25 years. This is the first return to the island in several years. It was was just like coming home again. Great stay and it brought back many happy memories

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a nice house. Some constructive criticism: not all the outlets work so it was a pain for charging devices. Would be nice if they all worked. 2) there was sand in the drawers of the dresser in the room opposite the master bedroom. 3) the microwave was glitchy. They sent a repairman, but he couldn’t find anything to fix, but it definitely is finicky. Ths shower head in the jack and jill bathroom has to face the wall, otherwise water pours out the side of the bathtub and creates a mess. That means you have to be super close to the wall instead of orienting in the middle of the bathtub. Other than these minor concerns, it is a really nice plac to stay on your visit to Kiawah.

It seemed that there were fewer kitchen items and towels/wash clothes this visit, but other than that, the unit provided ample space for 3 adults and 3 kids. We love being adjacent to Night Heron Park and minutes from beach access.

This was a comfortable cottage close to the park and the beach. The rooms were well appointed as well as the living space. We had a wonderful visit to Kiawah. I would suggest some attention to the kitchen and laundry. (mold in the washer, no bowls for food prep in the kitchen-we bought a couple and left them behind).
