Nice vacation

Property was as advertised. Wonderful communication; always prompt with answers to any questions. Perfect location for all ages that were staying. Easy access to beach and souvenir shops. The little yard was perfect for little ones to play outside and very little traffic. Just a perfect spot tucked away and yet close enough to everything we needed.

Rented this home for family coming for Thanksgiving. Had everything we needed and plenty of room for us to gather. Walking distance to everything!

Nice quaint place, but small main room

We enjoyed our stay. It's an older home, probably from the 40s, but it was clean. We thought the main living space would be bigger with more seating than it was. We had 14 from our family and we really couldn't congregate very comfortably there to be together at one time, and ended up spread out throughout the house. We had to call for some maintenance help and they were prompt and fixed it. We had an enjoyable visit to Tybee island. It's a beautiful area.

Great place for groups

Our Girl Scout troop stayed at Magnolia. We absolutely loved the house. There was plenty of room for 13 people. Every family had their own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked many meals at the house. I need to explain my 4 on cleanliness. The house was definitely clean, towels, bedding, etc. The dishes in the kitchen were also clean. Having cooked so many meals we discovered that the inside of the drawers in the kitchen were in need of a good wipe down. Aside from that it was all perfect and we would go back. The walk to the beach was a couple of blocks. Parking was convenient for 4 vehicles. The washing machine was great! It was a perfect beach experience!

Lovely home

Loved this home. Has outside screened in porch and a balcony upstairs. Plenty if room and a great location. We had a great time. Walkable to beach. The only issue we had was that the address we were given does not work with GPS. It took us all the way into island and we spent too much time looking for it. I finally called and was told GPS doesn't work and they were right after you get off of the bridge. This wasted 30 min of our day. Not a big deal but wish they would add this in bold letters to the info they sent. Highly recommend

Overall good experience

We traveled with multiple family members (two sets of grandparents) and children aged 7-24 years old. House was comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Within a reasonable walking distance from the beach. Because of # of people in our party, my significant other and I ended up sleeping in a downstairs bedroom (trundle bed) which was a bit challenging but all others reported their beds were comfortable. Perhaps a queen/full sized bed in this room would be a better option. The bathroom door knob kept falling off but that wasn’t a big deal… it could still be used. We needed more towels than what was originally provided and the rental office was very responsive to my email and delivered within the next day. Overall this was a good experience.

Just enough room

The house was nice. Kitchen was very stocked! Walking to the beach was easy. Only issue we had were with the door knobs. Sounds funny I know but they kept falling off on 2 of the doors. Especially in the room downstairs we were staying in. I personally got locked in. .That was funny. The front door knob needs attention. Could have used more towels for our large group. But other than that we had a wonderful time. Great tv to watch the games on, wonderful washers and dryers. It was a lovely stay for my whole family!

Great house with plenty of room.

We enjoyed our stay. We had a group of 12 and had plenty of room. The property was just as expected. Communication with the rental company was good. The check in/check out process was easy. Would definitely consider this house again on a return trip to Tybee.

Great Location and Beach Vibe

Really enjoyed our stay. The house is exactly as expected. Love the style and is comfortable and inviting. I do recommend updating a few of the beds/ bedrooms (the daybed room, and the double bed rooms)

Great for a large family vacation.

Such a great experience. Great location, lovely property, plenty of space. The only downside was how to park 4 vehicles creatively as the beautiful trees on the property make parking a bit of a puzzle. Totally worth it though.

Perfect Home Away From Home

Property as described on VRBO. Charming home with plenty of room for my husband and myself plus my husband’s three brothers and their wives. Ample space for the whole family to congregate together or (if needed) little hide-a-ways for private meditation. The Magnolia is located within walking distance to beach, pavilion, pier, shops and restaurants. Perfect in every way!

A great place to vacation!

This home that we spent a week in was charming and a perfect fit for our family. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the beach and restaurants, the house had a great layout and was spacious, air conditioner worked great (very important when vacationing at the beach) and everything that one needed while away from home was provided. The personnel were very friendly and check-in was a breeze. Our only complaints were that the house could have been cleaner and the furniture in the living area was not only very uncomfortable but lacked seating space for 8 adults. (One couch and one chair). Overall a great experience.

Family trip get away

House is very old but has charm. Plenty of sleeping space and very easy blow up mattresses available as well. We loved being a short walk to the beach and downtown tybee. Uber was easy and quick to pick us up to take us to savannah for $45. Updates in the house were very nice. Small leak with shower head in upstairs master bathroom. Seemed like all it needed was a tighten. Screened in porch was the main hangout for breakfast and lunch. Had little trouble with upstairs direct tv remote but we didn't stay in very much. Affordable if u have a big party going down. I would definitely stay again

Classy and comfy

Rented this property for a girl's reunion. It was absolutely perfect. We walked to the shops and restaurants and the beach. The house itself was perfect. A few mattresses could use an update, but overall such a wonderful pick. Savannah was a short drive away. We will be returning annually.

Why they chose this property

When my wife and I were young, we enjoyed family beach vacations. Her beach was Nags Head, NC. Mine was Surfside, SC. On our first visit to Tybee several years ago, we were immediately struck with memories of the beaches we loved from our childhoods. The family atmosphere, friendly people, the surf, and the pier took us back to good times in our pasts. In addition, the age and preservation of the property reminds us of the good times we had at our grandparents' houses. Tybee Island is the perfect place to recall old memories and make new ones.
