Great little house tucked into a residential downtown area. Really convenient to the Pikes Peak Center and myriad eateries and bars. Very well appointed and maintained property. Grateful for the dog run and fenced in yard as well. Hosts were in frequent contact and provided everything we needed to know and then some. Thank you!
The place was such a nice, quiet getaway with nearby trails. It was centrally located to lots of good places to eat and activities. The hot tub was a great feature to have after longs hikes. We spent the evenings on the porch playing darts or sitting on the swing.

The property management company was great to work with, checking in and out was very seamless and required no interaction. Unfortunately, the neighbor’s dog barked quite often, up until midnight, both nights. That was a little difficult with children trying to sleep. We knew from prior pictures that there was some water damage that was fixed, but you could still see it wasn’t fully repaired, (damaged baseboards, paint was not updated to match, rotting wood.) there are also some spiderwebs that were pretty large in the master bedroom ceiling, we did not see any spiders but having those removed would’ve been nice. Beyond that wear and tear, it was clean And had what we needed. The house has a ton of potential, just seems like it needed a little more attention.
This should not be a property your companyshould allow. Leaky roof that has been fixed before. Horrible water damage. We had to clean up a practical flood with the rain that came in. We left the next morning. Run down and falling apart. Overgrown with weeds. The ask you remove your shoes before entering. Floor was filthy. For a management company they sure don’t put anything into making sure their property is safe and clean.
Perfect match to description and previous reviews. Excellent host communication. We felt comfortable and cared for! Note and reminder - as you can see in photos and description, the only dining area inside is a 2-person breakfast bar, or you can gather around in the living room too. We had four people and a dog, and we *loved* sitting at the table on the deck in the fenced yard, perfect for all of us.Two ample bedrooms with actual beds and doors to separate from living room and kitchen. The bathroom is small - if you are a larger person you might be uncomfortable. Fine for us four adults.Kitchen includes a standard-sized gas range which my foodie husband loved having - he used the griddle to make us pancakes :) AND happy to have a dishwasher and coffeemaker with complimentary dark roast coffee - our favorite! Extensive spice collection provided. We also loved the location - walking distance to so much cool stuff. Highly recommend Everest Nepal Restaurant. Amazing food. And Bread and Butter Market for groceries, a mile walk from the cottage.I could go on but to sum up, we would go back anytime with complete confidence in this place and its hosts.
Hi my name is Lloyd and thanks for considering one of our properties for your travel needs! I started out in the vacation rental business years ago, traveling with my wife across the US and other countries. We have always preferred the coziness and feel of being home over a hotel room.
This led us to convert our personal rentals into short term rentals and then shortly after our company nestago was born! We enjoy the fact that we are able to assist people from all over the world with their vacations, reunions and so much more. Creating memories is such an important part of life and we are honored to be a part of that!
Please enjoy your 5 star stay with us and please don't hesitate to ask us anything!
