The space
The house is a very comfortable and spacious 1,550 square foot three-bedroom, two-bathroom home that has recently been updated on the exterior with fresh paint, stain to the front fence, and in the interior with beautiful wood plank tile floors in all common areas of the home and plush carpets in all the bedrooms.

KITCHEN: Fully equipped with newer appliances, a microwave, and a drip coffee maker stocked with coffee. Various teas, sugar, spices, and powdered creamer are also provided when available.

AMENITIES: Bedding, linens, towels, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and other minor essentials are provided in limited quantities, tailored to the length of your stay and number of guests.

PARKING: Available in the driveway on the side of the house by the garage or on the street.

WASHER/DRYER: Available for your use with detergent provided in limited quantities, tailored to the length of your stay and number of guests.

WIFI: Fast and free for your convenience.

TVs: Smart TVs with access to popular streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney+, and more. Note: Viewing may require logging in with your own account information.

This property did offer 1 pet welcome but i didnt take one since i was here for a funeral. The home was beautiful, clean and comfy. There was lots of space. It slept 11 but i only had 3 people since my son choose to stay home. I did invite a few family members to come over for an hr. There was plenty of space to sit and enjoy talking. My only complaint was no response was ever recieved when messaging the owner. All i got was auto responses concerning checkin and checkout

House doesn’t match the listing & was completely misrepresented. Listing states home “HAS RECENTLY BEEN UPDATED … IN THE INTERIOR WITH beautiful wood plank tile floors in all common areas of the home and PLUSH CARPETS IN ALL THE BEDROOMS” [upper case emphasis is mine]. “Pet friendly”, “budget conscious”, & “value” mean we should expect carpets to be filthy & not at all new. Rugs definitely aren’t cleaned monthly as the listing states, & if they are, whoever cleans them does a heinous job; the one in the kitchen doesn’t look like it’s been touched any time recently.Listing states the home has carbon monoxide & smoke detectors, but the only places we saw where they were installed was in the hallway, & both units had been removed entirely. Exposed wiring over the stove & expanding spray foam sealing a light switch plate are safety hazards & not up to code. And there are mice - we watched one run from the fridge into the laundry room, & we later found a package of nuts that was sealed & sitting on the kitchen counter had been chewed up.Neighbors & the stadium across the street are loud but die down by 11:00 pm. Dog in the back yard next door barks at any noise. Neighborhood seems sketch, but we didn’t feel unsafe, & the location is convenient. Family who live in Lubbock mentioned that this is a “rougher” part of town. Check-in was a breeze, & living/dining rooms were comfy. But we’d never stay here again.
