This property is perfect for couples or family trips! The location is great for exploring so many great outdoor spots and is only a few miles from neighboring towns as well. Blue Laurel is so relaxing, clean, well thought out and stocked for any extra needs.

Quite possibly our favorite VRBO to date! Owner was over the moon thoughtful with little details to make our stay special (even farm fresh eggs!). They checked in regularly (like to tell us the beautiful deer were out in the field across from the cabin), even checked to make sure we made it to our destination after we left. The cabin itself is immaculate! Everything we needed and more. Thank you for making it a wonderful memory!

A beautiful , cozy cabin ,truly one of the cleanest properties I have ever stayed in, it was simple and well-appointed, and so relaxing. No detail was lacking. It was so well organized. The location is perfect: not too far from Clayton and Highlands if you want brunch, and plenty of hiking and natural beauty to enjoy. Ample, easy parking, I loved it and will be back.

We had a wonderful time at Blue Laurel. The cabin is exactly as described, clean and very well cared for. We appreciated how easy it was to communicate with the host and check in and out, as well as the fact that the cabin was perfect for the whole family -- adults, kids and dogs. We'd definitely like to return some day!

This cabin will wrap you with comfort and the peace and quiet you seek. The views are wonderful and this cabin has a very usable floor plan, very clean, and just plain ol' comfortable! The host is very easy to communicate with. Getting checked in was a breeze. I am very happy with the accommodations, to include the outside porch and sitting areas. I am looking forward to my return trip at the end of November. Personally, I just don't think it gets any better than this one!

Quaint, serene, clean cabin with a great hostess and easy parking. Bed is very comfortable. Towels are plush. Kitchen is well-stocked. Hostess provided a lot of extras. Perfect getaway for a couple and their fur babies. A/C unit was upstairs and may annoy some light sleepers cutting on and off. Bedroom and bath are upstairs, as well, which may be cumbersome to some who are mobility-challenged. Pups enjoyed walking in the creek. Very steep incline to climb down (and back up) to get to it. Overall, a wonderful place. Would highly recommend and will definitely plan a return visit.
