Expansive decks offer you a chance to relax and enjoy the mountain scenery. Be sure to bring your fishing gear as there are plenty of fish to be caught just off your deck.

A cozy get away for a week-end or a week relaxing in upstate SC. This two bedroom one bath home sleeps 6 in a newly updated cabin beside the lake. Enjoy all the comforts of home while taking in the quiet beauty of the natural surroundings.

We loved the cabin. It was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the dock. Next time we come will have to be in warmer weather so that we can swim. Would definitely stay there again. Mountain Rest and Oconee County is a beautiful area and very friendly people.

Mountain Rest Lake House

This cozy lake house had beautiful views, was spacious, comfortable and situated in a perfect location amidst so many hiking trails and Clemson. Our hosts were very accommodating and provided a great guestbook of local highlights. We were very happy with our stay and would love to return.

Awesome place!! View is amazing. House was clean and very well decorated. We had a great time and were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. It’s not far from Clayton or Cashiers so we went for some good eats. We will definitely stay there again in the future!!

We had a wonderful time at the Mountain Rest Lake cabin! It has everything we needed in such a beautiful setting. It was peaceful & fun for my husband, daughter & I. Our daughter loved kayaking for the first time! The fishing was great but we’ll catch more during our next stay. Can’t wait to go back!

Very nice place in a quiet area, felt like home. Lots of blowups to enjoy the water and kayaks, canoe and paddle boat. I think the grandkids and pappy used them all except the paddle boat.
