Great house easy walk to town

Great house very attentive owner who made our stay super easy . This house is an easy walk to San Jose Del Cabo, we walked to town in the evening and really enjoyed the art night Thursday night. Spacious and good kitchen.

Good and quiet area

Overall our stay was pleasant, especially when relaxing in the backyard by the pool.The only problem was lack of hot water in the kitchen which made washing dishes cumbersome and intermittent availability of hot water in bathrooms.

The house is a little ‘tired’ and could use some Mexican decorative touches but it is a Great space with good access to local hot spots. However we NEVER could get hot water in the kitchen sink! We boiled water on the Wolf gas range! Excellent hot showers, but not so in the kitchen.

16 days of pure relaxation!

This is the third time my best friend and I have rented this property. It is a beautiful home in a lovely, safe neighborhood. The house is equipped with everything one would need for a comfortable stay. The pool was a real plus on those warm afternoons. The owner, Chris, and his property manager Martha were a joy to deal with. We are planning a return visit next year.

Truly a home away from home

This home is well decorated, very comfortable and is supplied with everything you would need in a vacation rental. The living room has ample seating for a large family. The dining room is beautiful and easily seats a large party. The kitchen has all you'd need, lots of room, if you love to cook you won't find anything missing. The bedrooms are large, the beds comfortable, and again there is nothing missing if you are looking for more pillows, and extra sheets. There are lots of towels for both the beach and the pool. We had fun just sitting on the deck and watching the golfers tee off on the 7th hole. Martha was very helpful and easily contacted when needed. We would recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in San Jose Del Cabo.

Awesome 3 weeks with family!

The house was quaint and very spacious. The kitchen was well supplied but needs updating. We found the stove challenging as the oven pilot light would not stay lit. The BBQ does not put out enoug btu’s Of heat. There was a problem with the electrical plug for the fridge...kept losing power so we used an extension cord to another outlet. The beds were very comfortable, showers were awesome. Yard was well maintained and pool was refreshing (not heated)and getting warmer each day! 20 minute walk to the beach and a 1 hour walk to do the loop with the 1 challenging hill. A car is needed to visit other areas of the town and countryside. Beautiful sunrises viewed from the spacious deck that had sunshine all day. The internet failed on our last full day so communication was lost to our friends locally and at home. Thankful for the satellite connection for the TV so we could still monitor the snowy weather at home in Canada! Martha was very helpful and friendly. Thank you to Chris for sharing your Cabo home with us. One suggestion: provide some clear instructions on how to work your TV - too many remotes.

Beautiful home, attentive caretaker for the house, nice location.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We did have some water issues that meant no showers the first day and a half. I understand a pump broke. Martha did her best to take care of this but the plumber didn't show when he said he would. Either way, she remained committed to getting it fixed and once it was, it worked just fine for us. The pool was lovely. The street was quiet and an easy walk for a family with two teens and a tween into town or down to the beach. We rented a car from Avis near the Starbucks for a couple days to get out of SJD, it was totally worth it. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful home in a nice neighborhood.

The home is well equipped for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the commercial size gas range with flat top cooking surface, made meal preparation a breeze. The property manager was helpful in pointing us to local shops and answered questions about the home. The yard with pool, gazebo, patio and balcony made for plenty of outdoor lounging and dining options. Unfortunately there were issues with the pool cleanliness and the water level dropped significantly makiing it unusable.

Perfect family accommodation in Los Cabo

My wife and 4 sons recently spent a great 2 week vacation in San Jose. This has been our fourth stay in Cabo and this villa has exceeded all of our expectations. The bedrooms off the patio and pool allow for privacy while the upper level is perfect for socializing and spending time together. The home is comfortable and well equipped with great maintenance staff. While a vehicle is useful, the villa is a short walk to the supermarkets, downtown, beaches and bars/restaurants. The location and proximity to places of interest is excellent. Christopher was very attentive during our stay, ensuring that we were comfortable and that all our needs were met. We will be returning and would recommend this villa.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

This house in perfectly located San Jose has every ammenitie that you could wish for. Even though there are neighbors on each side, there is plenty of privacy whether you are on the upper patio watching the golfers, or down in the garden around the pool. Chris the owner and Abraham the manager are always available and made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Allready looking forward to the next time!

Senior Vacation!

Four retired friends enjoyed a 2 wk. vacation in San Jose del Cabo recently! The rental house was very spacious and well supplied with amenities.Plenty of space, furniture, etc. We had difficulties the first few days since we did not know of any manager or contact to answer any questions except the Tropicana Hotel manager (friend of owner) who was pretty scarce.We had never heard of a "Magic Jack" phone,. Written instructions for the phone could be very helpful. Also needed info on TV picture use. The owner, Chris, was very helpful & friendly when we figured out to reach him. Quite a length of a walk to reach the beach!

Beautiful house and great value

We spent 2 weeks in the house and found it extremely comfortable and in a great location. If you want a family holiday this is the place. 3 nice bedrooms with terraces off each room. Well equipped kitchen and large living and dining rooms. Lovely large terrace for outside al fresco dining off the living room. Close to the downtown gallery area but on an exclusive very quiet street. Short walk to beach and restaurants. Found a great bistro at the top of the street. Private pool and my fav time was morning coffee watching golfers tee off on the 7 th hole from the upstairs terrace. The owner was very responsive and made a point of ensuring we were comfortable and content.

Good value and nice comfortable feeling.

The property was a great central location for us. We prefer San Jose del Cabo over Los Cabos. We could walk to the main town or down to the hotel area. We even walked to La Comer for groceries! As we did day trips to various areas in the Baja (Los Barilles, Cabo Pulmo, Todos Santos, and Santa Maria Bay) it was a great location. It was nice to come back after a day out to a comfortable place to hang out with all the amenities we needed. The owner was very communicative with our questions and had a local friend to also assist as well.

Great!!

The house is very open and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need for anything you can imagine. The swimming pool was very clean and private. The location was great! Not close to all the bars and noises and not too far either (walking distance). The owner was super responsive about every little detail and The owners representative Abraham was very helpful with tips from restaurants to uncrowded beaches. To us the location surf wise was great. 20 minutes to shipwrecks, 20 minutes to cabo San Lucas and an hour to Cerritos! Can't ask for a better location than that! We will be back for sure!!

Best Vacation Ever!

We rented this property during spring break for seven days for our family vacation. We had originally planned to stay in a hotel but then decided to give this house a try. And, are we really glad we did! The house is beautiful, clean, secure and roomy, and has every accommodation one requires (and more). The views are spectacular--most of my mornings were spent on the balcony (overseeing the golf course) and watching the sun rise over the ocean. It's a great location and within walking distance to both the downtown area and beaches. The swimming pool was also a plus and provided an excellent environment for the wife and I to relax and sip cocktails. Our whole family had a blast and it was one of those rare vacations where no one could find anything to complain about... I cannot say enough good things about the property. We are already looking forward to returning next year.

Great holiday in San Jose Del Cabos.

We had a great holiday! The pictures are exactly as home looks like. Was nice having private pool. Chris was great to deal with along with Abraham who looks after the house. Was nice having pool and grounds people there every two days to clean pool and do yard work. Loved having our morning coffees on upper deck watching sunrise and watching the golfers. Great location... 15 - 20 min walk to Mega, WalMart or downtown San Jose. Close to lots of good restaurants. We would recommend this home and would consider renting it again!😎

A must go!

Had a great week in San Jose this past week. The weather was a little cool and rainy our 1st couple days but the rain was so light it didn’t stop us from doing anything. The house is on a great street with some amazing houses. There were cars from BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan all down the street, so we felt right at home. We did many nice runs down and around the block, along the ocean and into downtown. It is about a 15 min. fast walk to the beach, downtown or MEGA, but it is very hilly so it wouldn’t be very fast if you have mobility issues or are walking with small children (like we were). Thankfully Chris rented us his vehicle that allowed us way more mobility then we would have otherwise had. We drove to Cabo San Lucas one day and did a boat tour to Land’s end, Lover’s beach, Divorce beach and the sea lions. It only cost $30 for the 4 of us, which I thought was very reasonable for the 45min. tour. On the warm days we drove to Chileno beach and Playa Palmilla. The water was swimmable here and the sand and the view were great. The beaches and San Jose for that matter were very laid back and quiet. No one tries to sell you things on the beach, which is very nice and even downtown you really didn’t get harassed much. Cabo San Lucas is way busier and more people harass you to buy things. We asked and San Jose is a little more quiet then normal right now since not all the hotels have reopened after the hurricane. You will see a lot of construction and the palm trees look damaged. Abraham the house manager is great! It is so nice to have someone to call if you need anything, if there are any issues with the house or just to ask what beach to go too. Thanks so much Chris! You have a great house that is very well equipped, we look forward to returning some day.

Super great

Great home, located within walking distance of downtown San Jose del Cabo , close to beach and estuary , super markets and another small tourist area by the big hotels . The home is spacious and tastefully decorated! A big treat is the well equipped kitchen, including a Vulcan stove! In addition to all the amenities is that the home is in a beautiful neighborhood that is quite and peaceful .The owner is very responsive and a delight to work with. He knows the area well and offers advice as what to do and see.

A wonderful month in the sun!

We rented Chris' house for the entire month of November. We really enjoyed the house it was perfect for us. Views of the ocean and golf course are amazing. The kitchen was very well equipped. We made good use of the Margaritaville Blender! It was great having satellite TV, Wifi, a high-speed Internet computer and a BC phone number made it so easy to be there. The location is perfect for walking to dinner at night in the town square or down on the Malecon. Lots of great services are easily accessible. A short drive to some of the best snorkeling in the world! We enjoyed afternoons by the pool and evenings on the deck. Chris also provides beach chairs and towels. We want to thank Chris for all of his hard work getting the house ready for us after Hurricane Odile. Although there was a lot of damage evident in San Jose Del Cabo, the house was in great shape. Thank you to the people of San Jose for being so welcoming and friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit.

Horrible Experience

I stayed at this address with my family for a week recently, and it was the worse experience I've ever had renting a place on vacation before. The property owner showed up unannounced 3 times while we were there. The first time he arrived we had run into town, we had accidentally left one of the back doors unlocked, and as "punishment" for this he shut off the air conditioning units at the breaker. It was 98 degrees when we were down there. The house is advertised as air conditioned, however, there are only 2 air conditioning units in 2 of the 3 bedrooms and no air conditioning in the common areas. We were questioned on multiple occasions on how many people were staying at the house, I payed for 6 people, and there were only 6 people that stayed at the house. We had other family in town that hung out during the day, but did not stay the night. I felt very uncomfortable by the multiple times I was questioned regarding the amount of people staying in the house. There was also an air bed in the master bedroom that had a hole in it, that had to be pumped up every night because it lost air. Just when we thought we would not hear from the owner again, after we left he called us and accused us of stealing a $100 down pillow from one of the bedrooms. I would never recommend this house to anyone, which is too bad because the house itself was very nice, aside from the air conditioning, the house was as advertised and would have been very comfortable if not for the actions of the property owner.

House is centrally located on the best residential street in San Jose. House has eighteen inch Adobe built walls cement covered,makes a big difference a night during winter months,keeps the house warm at night.Lots of patio area to sit or lie on for sun or shade.Fully equipped kitchen for people that love to cook,if looking for a very quite home to relax you found it,the street has new lighting installed and is extremely safe,the pace I'm renting for is cheap for families and two couples to share.
