Really appreciate the review, Amy! It was a pleasure hosting you at Big Thompson Porterhouse. Thanks for taking such good care of the place—come back anytime.
This house was adorable! We have stayed in so many VRBO's but this one stood out due to all the little touches the owners provided. From the Christmas tree to the holiday decorations in the house, down to the basket of snacks that were provided (I'm talking marshmallows with a picture of the house on them) - the details were amazing! LOVED our stay! Thank you for all the extras - we didn't have to go shopping for toilet paper and dishwasher detergent like normal. This was so appreciated and made our Thanksgiving holiday even better! I have already told several people about your cabin! (And the location is perfect if you want to walk to downtown Estes!)

A Perfect Estes Park RetreatOur recent stay at a charming house in Estes Park was truly exceptional, offering the ideal blend of natural beauty and convenient access to town. The location was absolutely unparalleled, making it the perfect base for our Rocky Mountain adventure. We were mere moments from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, allowing us to embark on hikes and explore breathtaking vistas with incredible ease. Even better, the downtown area of Estes Park was just a couple of minutes' walk away, providing effortless access to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. After invigorating days spent traversing picturesque trails, the private outdoor jacuzzi was an absolute sanctuary. It provided the most soothing and restorative experience for our tired muscles, truly a highlight for post-hike relaxation. Evenings were equally delightful, gathered around the inviting outdoor fire pit. This cozy spot became our cherished nightly ritual, where my boys and I roasted marshmallows, and simply enjoyed each other's company under the vast, starry sky.The house itself was wonderfully appointed, providing everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights after our busy days. The open and inviting living space was perfectly designed for hanging out, allowing us to relax, cook meals together. It truly felt like a home away from home.We wholeheartedly recommend this Estes Park gem!
