This place is wonderful! If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway this is it! The house is clean and stocked with all the essentials plus a few extras. From the hottub on the deck with a view of Mt Rainier to paddleboards and life jackets to explore Hood Canal there's plenty, or little, to do. Check in/out was easy and hosts are quick to respond with any questions. We will definitely be back!
Great get away, exactly what we needed! Host was responsive and easy to work with. We will definitely keep this one on our "go again" list! Thank you for a great weekend.

Excellent home that was well stocked, had great views, and hosts were very kind with quick communication. We really appreciated the booklet with all of the instructions for the home as well. The hot tub was so great at night in the cold!

We would be more than happy to welcome you back anytime you’re ready for another getaway and look forward to hosting you again in the future.
This was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed, immaculate, fully stocked kitchen, an abundance of towels, games, just everything we could need. The hot tub was wonderful, under cover with views of Mt. Rainier and just feet from the water. We will come back.

We planned a last minute trip for my mom who has cancer. She wanted to be on the ocean and this more than filled the bill. A lovely home. And most enjoyable stay though brief. Plans of future trips for another time!Thank you for accommodating us and sharing your lovely home!!
The house was super clean when we arrived, and it was stocked with essentials. The house was quiet despite being on the highway. The backyard with water views and access was incredible. We loved stargazing while in the hot tub. We enjoyed everything about this house! Washer and dryer were an added benefit especially with small kids. Thanks!
This waterfront home is essential for your summer getaway! Waking up to stunning water views and hearing the seals and birds in the morning was an amazing experience. The house offers everything you need, from comfortable beds to a spacious kitchen, plus ample room on the couch to relax after a long day on the water. The host's communication during check-in was excellent, making it easy to locate the property. Our entire group was thoroughly impressed with our stay at this beachfront retreat. We would definitely recommend it to anyone!
Amazing Views!! Just stayed for ladies weekend! We loved sitting on the deck watch the seabirds, seals and Stellar Sea Lion!! Nice clean hot tub. Great location. 15 min to Union where we had brunch at Hook & Fork, and then back to the house to relax before 18 min drive to Hama Hama for Oysters & seafood feast!Kitchen could use a cookie sheet or two…that was the only thing we were missing. Also the traffic noise from the HWY can be loud at night but owners did provide ear plugs...

Thank you so much for the suggestion about the cookie sheets — we’ll definitely be picking some up! It’s easy to overlook little things like that, so we really appreciate the feedback.
We’re hoping the earplugs we’ve provided will help guests who are more sensitive to the sounds from the nearby highway, but we’re always open to finding ways to make stays even more comfortable. Do you think adding something like a white noise or sound machine in the bedrooms might help? We’d love to hear your thoughts or any other ideas that might make future stays even more enjoyable! Thank you again for allowing us to host you!
Until next time,
Amanda and Jaime
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful place! The veiws are amazing! Its nice to have access to the supplied kayaks and paddleboards. The extra towels provided was a big plus. Hottub was hot and the grill grilled!Be advised that there is no AC in the house, and if you're renting in the summer the house does get warm. This still didn't distract us from enjoying ourselves!
We had such an awesome stay! The views were absolutely gorgeous - perfect for our morning coffee or soaking in the hot tub at night. The location was super peaceful and felt like a true getaway, but still close enough to everything we wanted to do.The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made cooking super easy, and the beds were seriously comfy- we all slept great. The hot tub was a huge bonus after a day of exploring. Everything was clean, cozy, and just easy! We felt right at home and would 100% come back. Highly recommend!

Thank you Julie for the wonderful review, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope to welcome you back soon!
Everything was perfect. Only thing was both propane tanks (grill and fire pit table) were nearly empty. It would not have been enough to use the grill to cook. Just a heads up before your next booking. Maybe keep a full spare available. But again… everything was just wonderful about this property and we very much enjoyed our stay.
We absolutely loved our stay here! The view from the deck was just wow — we spent so much time out there, whether it was morning coffee or watching the sun go down from the hot tub. It was the kind of peaceful that makes you instantly relax.Having direct access to the beach was amazing. We wandered down at low tide and found oysters and clams right there — such a cool experience! It felt like our own little slice of heaven.Inside, everything was warm and welcoming. Kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were super comfy — we all slept like babies — and you can tell the place is really well cared for. We also had fun exploring the cute little town nearby — great spots to grab a bite, pick up a few local goodies, and just wander around.Honestly, we didn’t want to leave. Already talking about when we can come back. Highly, highly recommend 10/10 !

We're a Washington family who fell in love with Hood Canal the very first time we visited. After searching for just the right waterfront retreat, we found this incredible property and knew it was something special. We've spent countless hours thoughtfully renovating and updating the home to create a place where families and friends can truly relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories.
As hosts, our goal is simple: we want every guest to feel like they've discovered their own private waterfront escape. Whether you're here to unplug for a quiet weekend, gather with loved ones, celebrate a special occasion, or explore everything the Olympic Peninsula has to offer, we hope you'll enjoy this home as much as we do. We take pride in providing a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped space so you can focus on making memories while we handle the details.
Why they chose this property
There is something truly magical about Hood Canal. Unlike many busy waterfront destinations, this stretch of shoreline feels peaceful, uncrowded, and connected to nature. We chose this location because it offers the best of the Pacific Northwest—towering evergreens, calm waters, incredible wildlife, and unforgettable sunsets.
The property sits directly on 100 feet of private waterfront where guests can watch seals, bald eagles, herons, and even the occasional river otter. During low tide, it's the perfect place to explore the beach or simply enjoy the sounds of the water from the deck or hot tub.
We're also conveniently located near Hoodsport, where you'll find local restaurants, wineries, golf, hiking trails, and easy access to Olympic National Park. Whether you're looking for adventure or complete relaxation, this neighborhood offers both.
What makes this property unique
What makes this Hood Canal Pearl special is that it combines luxury, privacy, and authentic waterfront living in one unforgettable setting. With 100 feet of private beach, breathtaking water views from nearly every room, and a spacious deck featuring a hot tub overlooking the canal, it's designed to help guests slow down and soak in the beauty around them.
The home has been extensively remodeled with modern finishes while maintaining its warm Pacific Northwest charm. Guests love gathering on the deck, kayaking, paddleboarding, relaxing with a glass of wine, watching wildlife, and ending the day with spectacular sunsets over the water.
Unlike many vacation rentals, you'll enjoy a private setting with room to spread out, direct beach access, and all the comforts of home. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee while eagles soar overhead, enjoying fresh oysters from the canal, or stargazing from the hot tub, we hope your stay becomes one you'll want to return to year after year.
