About this property
Extremely remote glamping getaway, studio-style home on private country ranch!
This secluded paradise will give you that easy peace you’ve been struggling to find. In the hills of bourbon country, KY with hundreds of acres to explore as far as the eye can see in all directions; enjoy the quiet, no neighbors and no worries. Just natural ambience of calm! A guaranteed “never want to leave” stay. Hike the trails, pet the horses, fish in the pond, play some disc golf, plan a kayaking trip on Rolling Fork River, lounge in the hammock, roast some marshmallows over the fire, or take a nap! This is the camping ... that isn't really camping at all. The cottage houses everything any ideal stay should offer.
Studio amenities:
1 plush queen bed with linens/pillows. 1 sectional couch for extra guests (no linens provided). A full array of necessities in the kitchen are provided. They detached Bathroom is connected to the cottage beneath the porch 10 feet from the entry, it offers two showers, sink, toilet. Towels are provided in the unit. There are a ton of amenities located on the property from games, corn hole, disc golf, hiking, biking, or fishing at the pond, located behind the main house 1/4 mile down from your reservation stay. And the Rolling Fork River put in ramp is only 5 minutes drive away. We share the property with our guests openly, Just let us know if you have any questions about any of the areas access points.
The trails are easily seen and groomed, and a map is within the photos, but use your google earth or app map to coordinate your location, just in case. But... maybe you want to be lost on purpose!!! And of course, the heart of KY- the Bourbon Trail of New Haven and Bardstown, voted Americas most beautiful city, see our globally known distilleries. The Log Still Amp is only 9 miles from this stay. And Elizabethtown/Fort Knox is 20-30 minutes drive away depending on gate entrance.
The Bathroom is separated from the living area. We offered this to assist in the experience of a one room tiny home and simplified lifestyle. If this is not for you, we have a 2 bedroom unit also located on this ranch.
House Rules:
1. Absolutely no smoking or vaping in the unit, put everything back as it was when you entered before leaving. No disrespect to the property, animals, persons or tampering with the cameras.
Rule 2- Clean up after yourself, your children and your pets. If you wish to smoke outside- do not throw butts on the ground, dispose of them in the garbage. This unit is very remote and is not on a sewage system like in a city. Do not flush any paper, feminine napkins or other napkins in the toilet for this reason. Please use the trash bin. Before you leave: unplug coffee pot, fireplace, and fan. Take all trash out to the bins outside the garage. Wash any dishes used, and return any items back to their original placement. Place the air unit on economy setting 71 and be sure to close the door firmly.
Please do the same for the bathrooms.
Rule 3- if you wish to fish, you can only do so with barbless hooks, and catch and release method. Swimming is allowed but at your own risk, no life guard is on duty.
Rule 4- You are responsible for any damages you commit, for lost items or things you take without permission. You will be billed for them at market value and you agree to pay said debt upon request. This includes conduct performed by guests children or pets.
It is our hope that everyone can enjoy the land we have worked so hard on creating. If you are a nature lover and have a love for the fresh, country air, come visit!
Make yourself at home. You do not have access to the exterior buildings, barn, garage, or Red house. Otherwise the land is explorable. We own as far as you can see! Make yourself at home!
