This is a great location for accessing the local community. It’s very comfortable, quiet and spacious. The driveway is very steep but situates you at a point you have a small glimpse of the lake.

If you have a boat during your stay this is NOT the house for you. Boat will bottom out trying to get up hill. Not room to park on the front road either. The house was nice but my fishing partner had to pay an additional cost to stay somewhere else with the boat.

The check in process failed and the email was never sent out to provide check-in information such as door code, etc. The host was super responsive and provided the code to me as soon as I called him. The rental is up on top of a hill and has very little parking. For a VRBO rental in Guntersville, I’d suggest putting in the rental description that this place is not boat trailer friendly. We made it work with one truck and boat, but had I not had a four wheel drive, I’m not sure if we’d been able to get it backed up the hill. Nice place to stay and was clean, but do not suggest staying here with a boat of any size.

Birthday bash

Family met in Guntersville to celebrate my 45th birthday. We enjoyed the location of this house and our fur babies stayed in the fenced in back yard. While we were there we went fishing and ate at all the good spots. And on Sunday we left and went to my daughter's church watch her get baptized. We had a great stay and would stay again.

Perfect for what we needed. My teen daughter played in a soccer tournament at Sand Mountain Park. Since all the team families live over an hour away and the girls’ games were 7 hours apart, we needed a quiet, clean, place for the girls to all rest and have lunch in between games. The house was big enough for the girls to co-mingle in the living room and some to spread out and rest in the beds. Meanwhile, the parents sat on the back patio and the moms even went for a walk. It was perfect for what we needed, and the host was very amenable.

Super Clean House

We were pleasantly surprised how roomy the house was. The house was very clean and comfortable.We arrived after dark after a long travel day, and the access to the house was easy with a digital lock.The owner obviously takes pride in his property because everything is well organized. I would highly recommend this Vrbo to others

The house is very spacious and clean with a Lakeview! Stayed 6 nights! Shane is a very good host and he responds quickly to any concerns you might! We have stayed at 2 other of his properties and had no problems! We are planning to stay at this and his other properties in the future! Good location to everything! Thanks Shane!
