Thank you very much - it was a great spot - the groom/dads/groomsmen enjoyed hanging out there on the day of the wedding - it was a great yard for the dogs - everything was perfect for our stay.
It was a nice place and just what we needed. It was down the road from a good restaurant. Very clean and the check-in/ checkout process was easy. I would stay there again!
The house was very clean and had essentials covered for cups, dishes, utensils, and other items you may need. Yard was a good size and had a tall privacy fence. Super close to starved Rock and other things to do in the area. Definitely will try to get this for future stays.
I realize the property was an older home when I booked it. Many things were provided, such as coffee and bath essentials. The only down side was it needed more plug ins. And the shower plug to pull on the tub spout did not work well so the shower did not have full force water. Other than that location and safety was great. Would stay again!!!
Very nice dog friendly property, close to the state parks. Host provided blankets, towels and shampoo for my furry friend. Clean bedrooms, comfortable deep couches, and kitchen with all the things needed for cooking. Even a fenced in backyard. Nice sized TV for movies at night, or sit outside in the backyard in the quiet neighborhood.
Very nice place to get away for a few days. Stayed over the weekend with my girlfriend and we had a great time. Very clean and well kept. Had all the amenities we needed and had no issues with anything. Would stay here again if I’m going through the area. Worth the price imo
Our host, Tania was great. She responded within an acceptable time frame. She was helpful in making recommendations for celebrating a birthday. The house was clean and was exactly as advertised. We would stay at her place again.
A great place to stay. Conveniently located close to starved rock and plenty of shopping. Clean place with a full kitchen and fenced in yard for a dog. Would definitely stay here again - thank you Tania!
The host did an excellent job communicating well in advance of our check-in day. Instructions were clear and easy. The home was very clean and the beds and bedding were comfy. Ceiling fans in the bedroom are always a plus. We didn’t use the kitchen, so I can’t comment on that, but appeared to be well stocked. It’s a cute house, just as pictured. Loved the built-in cabinetry in the living room and all the cool old doors and trim. If you are an outdoorsy type person there are some great parks close by for hiking and other activities.
Appreciated the pretty lights at night that came on, tv had plenty of stations to preview. Beautiful home. Beds not as comfy as we like, but nice stay all around.
We had everything we needed in the home for a relaxing stay. The host was very responsive when we couldn’t access the home. She called immediately and helped us.
It looked just like the photos. Loved the backyard. The beds were extremely comfortable as was the bedding. The living room was very comfy. The whole setup was very charming. And she had a lot of little extras. Very thoughtful extras. Like spices, olive oil etc in the kitchen. She also had dog food and water bowls. A specific dog towel, poop bags, a leash and also a chuck-it to play fetch. She was extremely accessible and responsive. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.
