Property was excellent. Check in instructions were not sent promptly. Not as close to shops/restaurants as expected.

The Stay

The Stay was amazing. Great location, close to downtown. Real nice vibes. We will definitely stay again. The cons were the doors have too much space at the bottom, so mosquitoes came in, needs a bigger fridge and less storage, and the bed needs an upgrade really hard. Other than that great place to stay.

I only gave it a 4 because of the sound. It is such a cool space and I love how they transformed an old home into separate units. That being said, because of the older home there is very little noise barrier so we could hear a lot of street noise (and there is obviously a train near by). If you don’t mind waking up early this won’t bother you. ;)We had a little trouble getting into the unit, but the management company was very responsive and helped up get in quickly.

Comfortable, quite, clean... wish parking was not off street though. Ceiling fan was not working during my stay but not a big deal... room was cool enough but could have used circulating air.

Has good potential

The studio had a wonderful front porch, but poor sound proofing so that all conversations could be heard in our room since it is on the front of the house. The retro decor was cute. There are certain things we are used to such as: welcome basket, bottle of wine, toiletries, guide books to the area containing restaurant menus. We found none of these. When we tried to brew coffee, the outlet in the kitchenette was out. We couldn't cook or make coffee unless we moved to another outlet across the room. We reported this to the owner on the first morning of our stay. We followed up with subsequent messages. We did not hear back until the last night before we left. The electrician was supposed to come within the next 24 hours, which would have been after we left. The listing is new, so we hope that they will take these comments to heart. We would like to see them succeed.

Dear Carol, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We genuinely appreciate your insights, as they help us enhance our offerings for future guests. We understand your concerns regarding the noise levels due to the studio's location on the front porch. We are actively exploring solutions to improve soundproofing and ensure a more peaceful environment. Regarding the amenities, we apologize for any oversight. While we strive to provide a comfortable stay, we currently do not offer a welcome basket, wine, or guidebooks. However, we are considering adding these items to enhance our guests' experience. We regret the inconvenience caused by the outlet issue in the kitchenette. Our maintenance team has since addressed this concern to prevent future occurrences. We value your feedback and are committed to making improvements. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again and provide a more enjoyable experience. Warm regards, Evans Real Estate Group
