Escape to The Sandbox, a stunning and spacious home located on 1.4 acres in the secluded and peaceful Tom Nevers East neighborhood of Nantucket. With far-reaching views of the Atlantic Ocean, you'll feel a sense of calm and tranquility the moment you step inside. The home boasts a beautiful kitchen perfect for families to cook and gather, as well as an incredible outdoor space with a wrap around porch and plenty of room for lounging and relaxing.
Just two miles away from the beach, The Sandbox offers privacy and seclusion while still being close enough to all the action. Quality construction and stylish decor is evident throughout the home, with three beautifully decorated bathrooms featuring top-of-the-line fixtures.
Property has 2 outdoor cameras on the premises. One is near the front door the other is facing the shed in the back. Cameras are use for security purposes ONLY.
On the first floor, guests will find a foyer, family room, laundry room, and a queen bedroom with its own bathroom. There's also a twin bedroom with two trundle beds, sleeps four, and an office with a daybed and trundle bed. An additional deluxe bathroom completes the first floor.
Upstairs, the master bedroom offers a queen bed and an oversized bathroom with a pedestal tub and separate steam shower. Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Please start the wash the night before (beach towels etc.) The cleaning lady only has a few hours to do all the wash any help you can give would be greatly appreciated
Garbage pickup is Saturday morning If you could put the garbage out the night before
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Laundry - Guests must start bed linens, towels prior to checkout. Onsite parties or group events are strictly prohibited

Perfect September Getaway

We had a wonderful week at the Sand Box in September. The upside down set up is perfect and the home itself is beautifully decorated with calming beach house decor. You cant beat the distant ocean views from the upstairs deck and the pure tranquility of Tom Nevers. September is such a beautiful time to be on the island. The perfect escape.

Tom Never’s Never Looked So Good

The property was my favorite and we have rented for over 20 years. The distant view of the ocean was outstanding, the decorating so calming and the kitchen well stocked. Also with tennis courts around the corner, it was a perfect location for our family. Truly, an exceptional home.

Serenity with an Ocean Breeze & View

The perfect spot! A quiet location in Tom Nevers, which provides a great option of Tom Nevers beach, Sconset and Madequecham beaches all nearby. The house is beautiful, with all the modern amenities to go with a fantastic view of Tom Nevers' coastline from the deck. Top-of-the-line bikes and beach chairs/umbrella were available for use as well. Have rented a few times on Nantucket and this house was the best yet.

A great place to stay in times like these!

This was a perfect oasis for a group of 6 for a week during the summer. With ample lawn space, and house provided bikes (6 of them) we felt like we had the perfect setup to have beach days and secluded nights. Would highly recommend!
