An awesome place for a multigenerational family to gather. Clean and well appointed. Enough room for all members of our party of 8 adults and three children to spread out but also a lot of common areas. Great host as well.

Beautiful Backyard Oasis

This house was fabulous. Grace was a perfect host! I had a few questions and she was extremely prompt with all replies. We had 9 adults and everyone was extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The beds were all very comfortable. Everyone slept very good. We were seeing a concert at Jones Beach one day and the kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed to cook for our tailgate. The backyard was a true oasis. The pictures don't do it justice. It was so peaceful and serene. All those lights were amazing!! So close to Jones Beach!! Will definitely stay here again!! Thank you.

Excellent all around experience!

My family enjoyed our visit for our Thanksgiving gathering. The property was clean and accurate to the online description. The host was very communicative, even anticipating our needs before we asked. Everything worked, was clean and comfortable. We were near plenty of food and shopping options when we needed something in a pinch. The kids had plenty of TV’s and space to play. All around excellent option that we hope to use again in the future. Even my visiting relatives asked about renting the property for their future gatherings. You can’t lose with this property. Enjoy!

Family house for my wedding

My family and I stayed here for the weekend of my wedding. The house was lovely and the backyard was truly amazing. Throughout our stay, Grace was helpful, communicative, and super accommodating. I will note, however, that there is a note on the property about a fee for gatherings. I mentioned when I first booked that we would be using the backyard for our rehearsal lunch the day prior to my wedding. Then many months after booking, I asked what I felt was a pretty simple question which apparently made her think we were throwing my whole wedding reception here and responded saying this was not allowed. After not hearing back from me for a few hours she messaged again saying consider our reservation cancelled and a full refund. Cue massive panic attack. Not only was it a completely rash reaction to a simple misunderstanding, but had I in fact WANTED to use it for a party, then it should not list the fee for parties nor pictures of huge wedding receptions in the backyard. Other than this one incident, everything about our stay was great.

Great place to hold your private event

We were very lucky to come across Grace on VRBO. Her house is simply perfect for hosting a large party. We had a wedding ceremony and a party afterwards. Backyard is very private and tastefully decorated with an abundance of lights, space to put chairs, tables etc. All the guests were amazed by the beauty of the place and the whole set up. Parking is not an issue, as there are 2 spots on the driveway and plenty of street parking. Communication with Grace was a breeze, she helped us tremendously and guided us through the decoration and set up options. Any questions we had during the stay, Grace was one call away. Will definitely recommend this property to our friends to host their events.

Why they chose this property

This property is well-maintained, both inside and out. A huge backyard with a park-like feel. It allows one to wander off in different areas of the backyard. Kids also will love this yard as they can run around without being restricted. The backyard is totally fenced in with a locked gate. Though parents should always monitor their children, the fenced-in yard adds a layer of security.

The second floor apartment (your floor) is completely private. Its private entrance of each room assures each party in your group, their own access to their space. The king bedroom has an entrance, the second bedroom has an entrance, the living/dining room has an entrance. Each entrance leads to a beautiful paved patio and backyard garden. Each party of your group goings and comings does not have to affect either parties. A code is provided for each entrance. Since all the rooms has its own TV, here again alone-time can be easily accomplished. Of course all rooms leads into the spacious living/dining room with all the amenities.

The second floor is immaculately kept and furnishings adds to the relaxed atmostphere.

You are allowed to have small gatherings with host permission . Host approval required.

There is extrachsrge for all gatherings. Permission required and prior notice required.


Birthday party, baby shower, etc allowed with prior notice and extra charge.

What makes this property unique

Love the spectacular lighting in the backyard in the spring and summer months. The separate entertaining area for those who wants to sit alone and read a book or just relax with music right in the backyard. The barbecue area on the patio, is inviting for gathering friends and having some wine and unwind. I love that little area to serve breakfast to my kids when they were young. Sometimes pulling the patio blinds down to illuminate the sun glare and for super privacy for changing the mood.

The bedroom is gigantic. It fits a king size be, and a queen size futon. The large mirrors lightens the room and can stay in bed all day watching movies on the 55 inch TV equipped with Roku.

The large living room/dining is fantastic with the 72 inch SMart tv, 2000 amp stereo system (and yes, you can play it if you wish -- I'm a music lover, and just dance by myself to the music). Did I mentioned it's Bluetooth compatible? Yeah, connect your IPhone with your own music. If you have guests, the circular sofa has a king size pull out bed.

The bathroom is comfy with a jacuzzi bath. You will wanna soak in it for a long time. Others prefer fast shower, no worries; there is a great shower too.

The kitchen is full stacked with utensils, four burner electric stove. There's also a microwave.

You set your temperature at all times. You have the controls for air conditioning and heat.

And yes, there is your own private washer and dryer.

Only a 5-minute walk to Long Island Railroad which is 45 minutes to New York City. 30 to Jamaica Station to JFK. Lots of buses at the Long Island Railroad Station!
