GREAT PLACE, VIEW, LOCATION...But HOA/Owner Intrusion created guest safety concerns...Can't say enough about how well this unit is laid out and curated - well done! AND totally loved the proximity to some nice hiking trails RIGHT out the condo door! The only amenity we couldn't get to work sadly was the fireplace.Unfortunately had an unsettling interruption on our 3rd day of a week stay that made two sisters meeting for an annual trip feel off, unsafe and then inconvenienced. The HOA and owner did not tell the rental company of needing access to the unit for some work to give us a heads up at checkin. We returned from day in the mtns to our unit unlocked! Very disconcerting for two woman traveling. The HOA manager was not apologetic about it being left unlocked. Justifying for various reasons including because the owner had knew about it. To the rental company's credit they were not informed until midday and tried to contact us, but we had no service. There is no justification for leaving a rented unit unlocked, ever. The owner and HOA definitely dropped the ball and made us feel unsafe and vulnerable. Can't make up for that feeling with a the carefully curated condo :(

Thank you for your feedback. We’re so glad you enjoyed the condo, its views and the nearby hiking trails, but we’re truly sorry for the disruptions that impacted your stay. We understand how unsettling it must have been to return to an unlocked door, especially while traveling, and recognize that the unexpected work and lingering chemical odors only added to the frustration. Once we were made aware of the situation, our team reached out to notify you and worked to assist as best we could. However, we understand that receiving notice the same day was far from ideal, and we wish there had been more opportunity to communicate this with you in advance. We know how important it is to feel comfortable and secure in your rental, and we’re sorry this experience took away from what should have been a relaxing trip. We appreciate you sharing your feedback with us.
