Absolutely refreshing experience dealing such with a responsive and accommodating host! The property was beautiful and clean, nifty craftsmanship all around, and felt like home away from home. I would definitely recommend this place!

Perfect Getaway

From plenty of TP and paper towels to soap in the bathrooms to soft sheets to rooms with character, we had such a relaxing and enjoyable time here! Thanks so much!!

Unique layout. Well stocked house. Definitely appreciated having some spices and condiments available. The kids enjoyed having their own separate sleeping space. Was also nice being able to use pre-signed in streaming apps and programs. I will say that the road going up to the house is very up and down and hilly. I managed to go up into a drive for first night with as much easier with four-wheel drive.Location was very convenient for going in both North and South entrances to Shenandoah mountains

The drive to the property was not what I expected. Rough road. Okay if you don’t want to go anywhere. Not enough clean towels and could not wash clothes if you wanted to. What good is a dryer if the items are dirty. For the price I expected better. Overall we still had a nice visit with out of town family.

We would have loved to have heard from you during your stay so we could have directed you to where the extra towels and washing machine key are located. Our listing does indicate the bumpy gravel mountain road up, we're so sorry that caught you off guard, we do try to be transparent with our offerings so that everyone feels their expectations are met. The road up and the driveway are tricky, but worth it. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Would absolutely book again for a “staycation” type visit. Would not book if I’m simply looking for a place to sleep between sightseeing, events and other activities.
