Our favorite place to stay in San Diego!!!!

Wasn’t our first time staying at this property and yet again a truly amazing stay all around! Will be booking again soon for my annual vacation to the gaslamp San Diego!

Just meh

The location is horrible. Surrounded by homeless people. It’s not safe to go outside after 10 PM. All the plugs in this place are loose and you can’t keep anything plugged in. The lighting is very bad inside at night. Besides that the place is great. We were here for a convention and we hardly stayed in our room.

The Woolworth Loft was exactly as described. It was clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for my family and friends to enjoy our stay. Even though there was only one bathroom, we were pleasantly surprised by how large it was, and it worked out better than we expected. The location was definitely one of the best parts of staying here. We were close to everything we wanted to see and do, and it really is a great spot if you want to experience the Gaslamp District and everything it has to offer. There were a few things that kept it from being a perfect stay. There wasn’t a coffee maker or Keurig available, which would have been nice to have in the mornings. The kitchen was also missing some basic supplies needed to comfortably cook meals during our stay. There wasn’t enough flatware/ silverware for our family and friends when we had dinner together, and having some basic pantry supplies or the little things that make staying somewhere easier would have made a big difference. There could also be more lighting throughout the loft for the evenings, and we noticed that most of the outlets in the living area didn’t work, which made things a little inconvenient.Overall, the Woolworth Loft is a great place with a lot of potential and an amazing location. If these issues were corrected, I would definitely recommend staying here, especially for anyone who wants to be right in the middle of the Gaslamp District and enjoy everything the area has to offer.
