Cozy , cute cabin with an up north decor. Covered patio with grill and fire pit. Ample parking, 2 bedroom, full ,queen, and trundle twin beds. Washer, dryer , dishwasher, linens provided. Lake access, with short walk to Wamplers Lake. Air condition, wifi, cable. Walking distance to Jerrys Pub. 10 minutes from Michigan International Speedway. Pioneer Wine Trail accessible, 5 wineries within a 1/2 hr driving area. No pets, no smoking. Perfect area for a ladies wine weekend getaway, Sept and Oct are popular.

Great place to stay

The cabin was very cozy and clean. Property owner was very accommodating and made sure we have everything we needed, quick to respond to email/text. Check in and check out were easy.

Was an amazing experience! Rita was great with communication was there if we needed her. Which felt comforting. The location was beautiful. I hope to be back next year or maybe during the winter months for another beautiful experience .

Cute cottage close to MIS

We enjoyed staying in this cute cottage in a quiet neighborhood on Wampler Lake while attending an event at Michigan International Speedway. Al is a friendly host who made us feel welcome.

Irish Hills Hospitality at it's Best!

Walking through the door, first impression is beyond cozy, it's more like wrapping your favorite quilt across both shoulders right before you settle onto your couch with popcorn and hot chocolate to watch "It's a Wonderful Life". You KNOW you're in the comfort zone and jangles of stress immediately drain out of your fingertips, stepping toward the fireplace a bolt of realization telegraphs the message, "Awesome! This is gonna be grr-reat!" The cabin is situated near the host's home, Rita and Al, who happen to be the kindest friends you haven't met yet! There to welcome you as you settle in with curiosities, their local knowledge and expert touring advice graciously quell all questions, then you get another bolt saying, "This is cool... I'm really on VACATION!" You are comfortable and you're being taken care of by two awesome hosts. Hospitality comes in many forms but it is the human form of hospitality that is the most meaningful and Rita and Al get it! A very enjoyable location with plenty of family and adult activities at your doorstep. This VRBO gets 5 stars consistently because, in my opinion, the hosts are flexible, fair, fun and FABULOUS! Hats off to Rita and Al, we appreciate your pride in maintaining a wonderful cabin and thank you for the privilege of sharing it with us and others on VRBO. Keep up the good work!

Very cute cabin close to Jerry’s Pub. Very close to the lake and I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. I’ll stop by to introduce himself and also invited me to partake of some of the fresh tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden in the back.

The hosts are wonderful. The cabin is very cute and had everything we needed. Al is very friendly and helpful. Only issue was the hot water heater. Every time we showered the water would randomly go ice cold, would take a minute and then warm up again. And then repeat. Al came down and reset it and it seemed ok. But no, it did it every time. I dont have a tankless heater so not sure if thats common. Overall it was a great stay though.

100% would rent again!!!

First off we all know how hectic the holidays are. We booked over the Christmas holidays coming from North Carolina. The pictures don’t do the property justice! My wife and I travel with two kids ages 12,8 and younger had plenty of rooms! The layout was perfect. We even have friends visit that had 5 additional kids all under 10.over for dinner without any issues! The owners lived just up the street and were very accommodating, but they had it setup so well we didn’t need anything. DoorDash now is in the area and plenty of other places to eat and they have a Full stocked kitchen if you want to do all the cooking! I cannot wait to come back in summer when we can enjoy the lake and outdoor cooking! 10/10 would definitely rent again!

A true gem!

We travel for work, and always just need a place to rest for a few hours each night. When I booked this wonderful cabin, I had no idea that it would be our best experience in a rental EVER!! Rita & Al were the absolute best hosts, I truly cannot say enough about how great this weekend was, and how happy they made our crew! We WILL be back!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rita’s cottage. It was charming and had everything that we needed. As well stacked with coffee, products, etc. We hope to stay here again!

Girls weekend away

Rita was amazing at communication. I had an issue with the booking process that was completely my fault, Rita helped out and calmed my fears of the booking not going through completely. The place was absolutely perfect for our group. The pictures don't do it justice! Rita and family are right down the road, easy to reach and super accommodating with amenities.
