It was perfect for my friend and I to stay for the weekend. It was nearby a wedding we attended and was a perfect place to hang out between events. The beds were so comfortable! We will both be disappointed when we get home to our own beds. I would look forward to staying here again.

Your property was a delight. I love the color palette that you selected for the bedrooms and the mattress was so comfortable. It was great that you had so many outlets that made it very convenient for this day and age. Nice that you had a Keurig so that we had a variety of choices.. we were so hoping that this property would be available again, but it looks like you’re selling it , oh no ! Grateful that we found it for this year . Thanks again !

We had a lovely stay at Pergola Place. The house is charming and in a convenient location to access the park/boat launch for Wamplers. We also appreciated the communication of the hosts. Overall it was a nice stay for our purpose.

Comfy, cozy, and cute

My husband, sister and I stayed at Perhola Place cottage to visit family. It was perfect for our needs and was clean and comfortable. The location near the lake was beautiful and is walking distance to Jerry’s Restaurant.

Perfect Weekend Spot!

This place was the perfect size for a cozy weekend getaway with my partner—just what we needed. We loved being able to walk to great local restaurants and explore the area on foot. The house had everything we needed, and everything was clean and comfortable. The fenced in backyard was a great bonus, and the fire pit and grill that made for some really fun evenings!

Nice & Cozy

We had a great night here. The place is not fancy, but it had everything we needed for our winter stay. The reclining couch was perfect for watching movies and the place was very close to the event we were in town for.

We brought coolers of food to prepare during our planned 3 night stay,we unpacked our food into their refrigerator. There was 4 of us,me ,my sig other and my adult son and fiancee.We were all looking forward to an enjoyable time.Then the storm happened,we lost power on our first day .I called our host and told him.He apologized and said he thought power would be back soon.Fortunately it was cooler out so we opened windows and we had brought a fan.I have copd my sig other has emphysema.AC of course wasn't working,refigerator wasn't working with meat and all our other food.I asked our host about a generator,he didn.t have one.Bad planning on his part. We packed up the next day and left.Very disappointed,he could have saved our vacation if he.d had a generator!!! The power wasn.t restored for 2 days.

I believe your 2 star review is completely unfair. This was a storm that affected the entire southeast Michigan area. There were thousands of homes without power. The vast majority of homes do not have generators. That is obviously something important to you, you should have checked and booked a home that has one. We issued a full refund for the both nights that were not used. This review had nothing to do with the actual quality or value of the house. This was a weather event that nobody could have predicted.

Perfect for our little family!

Adam was a great host, thorough and detailed, prompt to answer any questions! We loved our stay at this cute lake house, slit has everything you need but is also simple enough to make you feel like your in your own home while you are away. You know how important that is, if you have small children. There's a cute fenced in back yard with everything you need to enjoy the outdoors and feel safe while your kids play. I would definitely stay again, and plan on doing so.

In the summer, this place is probably great as the other reviews have indicated. However, I would strongly recommend not staying here in the winter. The temperature fluctuated too much to be comfortable, the lighting is glaring blue fluorescent overheads with no bedroom lamps in either room. The bed was made with a top sheet and a summer quilt with no extra blankets in the building. When we asked for more blankets, the owner brought one old throw blanket for our family of five. We ended up finding other places to sleep to avoid the uncomfortable beds and temperatures. Additionally, there is a sign posted indicating that when you cook, the fire alarm will go off.

In response to your request for additional blankets we tried to contact you on multiple occasions to bring more blankets and received no response. We were not going to enter the house without your knowledge or permission. You never responded to my attempts to deliver on your request. To say that I only brought over one throw blanket for your family of five is a lie. I never had the chance to bring more blankets because you never responded to my communications.

Overall the location was nice. But the it was in need of several upgrades Flooring was loose in several places ( loose rugs were placed to cover those spots , which were unsafe)-Kitchen was Not stocked with appropriate items ( only had three dinner plates, a few spoons, drinking cups and no saucepan). This was booked for 2 weeks but was stocked with 1 dishcloth& towel, 3 wash clothes. We had to contact owner several times to get items ( like fix furnace after temps dropped to 40*) Our party left 3 days early due to catching colds.Owner admitted place was not set up for long term rental…

The ac units kept the place nice and cool. One in living room and 1 in each bedroom. Great place for a smaller group. Easy access to public dock and you can walk to Jerry's.
