Great house for large families. Becky was very welcoming and responsive with any questions. The house is well equipped and has many amenities. The location is close to local attractions. The beds are comfortable and furniture is in good condition.
The property itself was great and the communication from the owners was top notch. There were a few little nuances that were annoying but did not detract from us having a great time. One was the outside lights which did not seem to have a switch and shined brightly into a few of the bedrooms. We looked for a switch multiple times but never found it. Overall, though, the property was gorgeous and we had a great time.
We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and perfect for our group of 12 adult extended family members ages 20-85. We enjoyed each bedroom having its own bath, the two dining tables w lots of seating for everyone to sit together, and many different areas to gather like the back deck, theater room, game room and family room. There is lots to do both in the house and the neighborhood. Our group played pickleball and mini golf (paddles, balls and clubs are provided if needed). The kitchen was well-stocked, internet worked great, and the beds were very comfortable. There are also many restaurants and things to do close by. We would definitely recommend this property.
My name is Becky, and I absolutely love being a host! I always joke that I’m probably the pickiest person when it comes to vacations, so I’ve learned to use that to my hosting advantage. We put a lot of care and thought into creating an experience that feels comfortable, clean, relaxing, and memorable for our guests.
We’re located not far from Sevierville, and in our free time we enjoy hiking, riding our horses, and simply hanging out by a fire roasting s’mores in the summer. We truly love the Smoky Mountains and hope our guests feel right at home while making special memories with their family and friends at The Southern Belle
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this property because of the location. It’s right near the Parkway, making it an easy drive to all of the attractions, restaurants, and entertainment the Smokies have to offer. One thing that was especially important to me as a mom was avoiding the scary, steep mountain roads. My children tend to get car sick (lol), so having a convenient and easy drive was a huge plus for our family.
We specifically chose this lot because of the view potential, which was incredibly important to me. I wanted a property that felt peaceful and scenic while still being close to everything.
Another reason we love this neighborhood is the resort style amenities. In the past, whenever we traveled to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, I always felt like we had to spend extra money finding activities for the kids. What makes this community so special is that so much entertainment is already built right in. Guests can enjoy the indoor pool, water park, lazy river, splash pad, pickleball courts, putt putt golf, outdoor movie theater, cabanas, fire pits, and more, making it fun and relaxing for both kids and adults.
What makes this property unique
“The view. Simply the view! I actually waited an extra 6 months for this specific home because of it. Having beautiful mountain views was incredibly important to me, and I truly feel like this property offers the perfect balance of scenery and convenience.
We also put a lot of care into the guest experience and strive to make sure every detail is covered, down to the phone charger cords. We visit the cabin often to ensure utensils are accounted for, serving dishes are available, amenities are working properly, and remotes are where they should be. We genuinely want every guest to feel comfortable, relaxed, and taken care of during their stay at The Southern Belle.
