The vacation rental was fantastic! My family managed to book it last minute, and Mike was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. The beach is conveniently located right across the street, but you’ll need to walk about 0.3 miles to reach the actual beach access point. However, bikes are available to assist with this walk. If you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, there’s a lagoon in the back, just a few short steps away. Alternatively, you can simply enjoy the stunning views from the balcony.Our trip was quite low-maintenance and short. We didn’t need to use much at the rental or stay there for long periods, except for sleeping. Nevertheless, I must mention that the house offers a wide range of amenities, including beach towels, beach chairs, bikes, plates, and more. The area was also nice and quiet.

Our family of eight had a wonderful vacation in Gulf Shores and we enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is very and everything was in working order. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out. We loved the outdoor patio with its gorgeous views of the lagoon. We traveled from PA to Gulf Shores and relied on the property descriptions and reviews to let us know what we were in for. There were no major disappointments in that regard.Here are some things that you might find helpful when considering this property:- Like all houses in Gulf Shores, this one is also built on pylons. However, this one is prone to shaking. It's subtle, but undeniable. If your teenagers run up the steps or if the winds are strong outside, you will feel it.- The house claims to be "2 minutes to the beach," but the closest beach access at 13th street is requires 12 minutes of walking. It is not across the street as the photo suggests.- The house comfortably sleeps 8, but there are only 7 beach towels and even fewer beach chairs (no umbrella). The manager graciously purchased a few more and we also purchased some and left them for future guests.- All bathrooms have hand towels bars, but no hand towels. - The AC is fantastic, but the kids bedroom is noticeably warmer with no ceiling fan. Our 17 yr old son disliked the bottom bunk.- Maintenance was responsive to a broken knob on the clothes washer.

We're thrilled to hear that your family enjoyed the property, found the home comfortable, and were able to take advantage of the beautiful lagoon views from the outdoor patio. We also appreciate you taking the time to share constructive feedback for future guests. Regarding the subtle movement of the home, properties along the Gulf Coast are intentionally engineered and elevated to withstand coastal weather conditions, including strong winds and hurricanes. As a result, it is normal for elevated homes to experience a slight amount of movement during high winds or heavy foot traffic similar to a bridge where sway is intentional. We also wanted to clarify the beach access location. The closest public beach access is located just a short walk away near Little Lagoon Pass and is significantly closer than the 13th Street access point. Most guests find they can reach the beach in just a few minutes using this route. Thank you as well for bringing the beach towel and chair inventory to our attention. We were happy to add additional items during your stay and appreciate your efforts to help future guests enjoy the property. We will also review the hand towel inventory and bedroom comfort items as part of our ongoing property improvements. Finally, we're glad our maintenance team was able to quickly resolve the washer knob issue and provide prompt service. Thank you again for staying with us. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you and your family back to Gulf Shores in the future.

5 Stars – Perfect Last-Minute Escape!

I booked this place last minute for a quick spring break trip, and it ended up being one of our favorite stays ever. The property was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described—maybe even better. Plenty of space for the whole family to relax, and everything we needed was already there, from kitchen essentials to beach gear.The location was perfect—close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, but still quiet and peaceful. We loved having our morning coffee on the balcony and ending the day with sunset bike rides by the bay.The host was responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the whole process stress-free. For a spontaneous getaway, this spot completely exceeded our expectations. We’d come back in a heartbeat!
