We had an amazing stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Everything we needed was provided, and the location was perfect for relaxing and exploring the area. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in and check-out incredibly easy. We truly felt at home and had a wonderful vacation. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the condition of the house upon arrival. The handle on the glass door fell off in my hand as soon as we arrived, and another door handle leading into the sunroom was already detached. Outside, there was a leaking trash bag in the driveway, chips scattered on the stairs, water bottles and empty Ziploc bags around the property, several dead and live roaches, and broken outdoor furniture. Inside, we killed two roaches and found another dead roach beside the toilet. There were also ants on the kitchen counter, crumbs on the kitchen island, and crumbs on the round ottoman in the primary bedroom. The home did not appear to have been properly cleaned or inspected before our stay. With better attention to cleanliness, pest control, and general maintenance, this could be a much better rental experience.

Amazing

Overall, we loved everything about the property! It is well kept and the host reaches out while you are there to see if they can help you. With a dock for the boat and an amazing outdoor area, it was great for our 4month old! We kept our walker and stroller with us outdoors making it very family friendly. We could for sure see staying here again!

This was a great location with great access to boating, fishing, and the beach. The property had a really nice dock, good parking, and plenty of space in the house. The only reason I would not give it more stars is because of the condition of the home. It was clear the main level had been renovated, but I don’t know how well it has been maintained in the meantime. There were several doors that were very difficult to close, resulting in bugs getting in the house and floors being damaged by the doors. Two overgrown trees in the back of the property completely blocked water views from the windows and hung so low that even our shortest family member had to bend down to get under them to the dock. The blinds in our upstairs bedroom were too short to cover the window and broken in several places. Bedroom furniture upstairs was sparse, and several drawers in the home were unusable because of handles missing. We also had some difficulty with bugs and the grill, but after calling the maintenance company several times about the freezer/fridge, we didn’t want to keep having them come fix things while we were only there for six days. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to Cherry Grove Beach, but hopefully they can spruce up some things at this home.
