Historically, 'Azotea' referred to the section houses where railroad workers rested between their grueling shifts maintaining the tracks.
Today, our Azotea offers a luxurious repose, blending the rustic charm of a bygone era with modern amenities.
Drift off to sleep imagining the echoes of pickaxes and the camaraderie of the section gangs who kept this iconic railroad running.
Amazing views and sounds of the Cumbres & Toltec Narrow Gauge Railroad.
The railroad depot is a block away and the train travels right past Chama Crossing after is stops to take on water.
