**ALERT**
- The "master bedroom" is upstairs and is technically a loft.
The inside of the cabin really makes guests feel like they are visiting the mountains with fish, wildlife, and wood accents presented throughout the cabin. The two decks with outdoor seating have to be the best part of the cabin, allowing guests a place to sit and watch both the sunrise and sunset. To up the experience sit in the backyard swapping stories around the fire pit! There is also plenty of parking for trailers for those hauling horses or ATV's. There are board games and playing cards in the cabin to enjoy with your family instead of all the electronics. Guests are also just a 10 minute walk from access to the Rio Chama. The Buffalo Run is the perfect cabin for those wanting to enjoy a mountain getaway but yet have all of the modern conveniences of internet, TV, and a close location to town.
- The surrounding areas in and around Chama, NM offer some of the best views, UTV/ATV trails, fly fishing, multiple famous trout rivers, snow skiing, snowmobiling, top shelf hunting, brewery’s, restaurants, and tons of history as you get out to explore the majesty of Gods creations.
- If you are a UTV/ATV advocate there are many nearby Forest service roads to trailer to for the day of UTV/ATV serenity in the mountains. There are many National Forest access points for your UTV/ATV in the near surrounding areas in lieu of being on the New Mexico & Colorado border.
- Both El Vado and Heron Lakes in New Mexico are a nice 15-30 minute drive from the property to hike, bike, fish, kayak, or boat. Trujillo Meadows Reservoir is a 30 minute drive across the border into Colorado for great views and trout fishing.
- Pagosa Springs, CO is a stunning tranquil 50 minute gentle mountain drive from Chama to experience the best natural hot springs resort and some awesome restaurants. Pagosa Springs also has many shops for shopping including, Tractor Supply, Wal-Mart, Groceries, River Rafting, UTV/ATV rentals, shopping centers, and a tremendous amount more to see and experience.
- Wolf Creek Ski resort is only a pinch over an hour from Buffalo Run!!
