Our host was friendly and had nice advice for local events. Our cabin stay was perfect. We appreciate we could bring our fur babies. The view was amazing as well. We did leave a few items and our host was kind enough to get them mailed back to us.

We cannot recommend it highly enough. The owners thought of everything in the design and outfitting of this cabin. The driveway to the cabin was full of wildlife, outdoor fire pit under the stars, fantastic grills under the porch roof, fully equipped kitchen, big enough refrigerator, an outstanding mattress, shower and bathroom area large enough to house washer and dryer.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review, Gail! We're delighted to hear that you loved the cabin and found it to be well equipped. We put a lot of care into stocking it with the little extras that help our guests feel comfortable and at home, so it means a lot to know you noticed. We also appreciate your feedback about finding the property. Cell service and internet coverage can be limited in our area, which is part of what makes it such a peaceful getaway. To help with navigation, we send detailed driving directions before check-in and include them in the guest guide, but we'll continue looking for ways to make arrival even easier for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you back for another relaxing escape to Heron Lake!
