Very comfortable and cute house! Suited our needs. Had a lot of little extras and personal touches to make our stay more pleasant. The host was very accommodating and responsive.
Perfect location, lots of parking space and space in cabin! Recliner chair couch was so comfortable after long days on the trail. Washer and dryer in house was so helpful. Cooked most of our meals in cabin. Everything worked and great water pressure. Having the deer cruise through each morning and evening was special for us desert people. Would be sure to book again!
A perfect place for our family of four (plus dog and cat) to spend three weeks! Jodi was a wonderful host, the location was ideal, and the home was charming and more spacious than we expected-- plus lots of fun games. Couldn't ask for a better spot! :)
Great place to stay, relax, hang out, could walk to the restaurants in town, and access the alpine loop from the house. Had room to park the pickups and trailers. The house had everything we needed, plus things we had not even thought of. Fantastic

Thank you for the great review. I'm so glad you all had a good time and that you were comfortable!
Everything was perfect. Very cozy, secure parking for our off road vehicles and trailers, easy access to the Alpine Loop. Most importantly the home is pet friendly. Jodi made sure to keep us updated about the Elk Fire which was much appreciated. Our fur baby was also provided with treats and toys .
This was our second time to stay at this cozy cabin in Lake City. It has an excellent location. Parking is adequate for multiple vehicles and even our large trailer carrying 2 SxS. The cabin is comfortable and pet friendly which was important to us. The host was accommodating and even left snacks for us and dog treats for our pets. Cabin was clean and great for 4 adults. The two complete bathrooms is a definite plus. Thank you to our host for giving us a great place to stay in beautiful Lake City! We hope to come back and stay here again!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We are happy to have you anytime.
Our stay was just as advertised. It wasn't fancy but the cabin had everything that we needed. We had 2 couples staying and it was very comfortable. We had fun exploring Lake City.
This is the cutest little place in a fantastic location. It had everything we needed for our 10 day stay and even extra amenities such as a full complement of spices and several games. They were so accommodating for our little pup too. I would highly recommend this place so you have easy walking access to Lake City’s downtown and several restaurants.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you so much for coming to Lake City!
Charming and comfortable property, right in town. We had everything we needed and a bit of Lake City flair to boot. Stay was comfortable, clean, and cute. Host was communicative, but offered privacy. Great spot.
We were looking for a pet friendly place to stay. It was the only place that showed up.. we weren’t sure about parking and also unsure about having a handicap child. Everything was great. Parking in the front was easy to get our son in and out of the house. It was a little warm for us the first night but it cooled off and we slept well after that.
This property was absolutely perfect for our needs. Having 2 full bathrooms was wonderful. Jodi was super welcoming to us & our pets. Thank you for all the extras like the dog bed & dog treats. My husband lost his keys & pocket knife. We weren’t sure where but when Jodi found them she lets us know she found them. She even offered to mail them to us. Wonderful host! We want to stay here again! Great location o town & the Alpine Loop! Can’t say enough good!!

First impressions are lasting!! The flower box below the window had dead flowers and tall weeds on one side of the house next to the lumber yard that was next door. A backhoe was parked directly in front of the house when we arrived. The front door screen was busted and had a rope through the hole as a handle to get in and out. We could only enter the house through the rear door. Check in was fine and the house had been cleaned and had a fairly new coat of paint on the walls. Definitely not worth the cost! The picture on VRBO was definitely a few years old.

Michael, I'm sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. While I appreciate the feedback, I would like to take this opportunity to address some of the things that you pointed out.
This is my personal home and we have worked hard to bring this 150 year old house up to modern standards, but we are not done yet.
The front of the house changes appearance depending on the time of the year. As you can imagine, it is more overgrown looking toward the end of summer. This is not a design flaw but part of the yearly cycle.
As to the backhoe, well, it is a public street and, as much as I would like to, I cannot control parking on the streets. If I recall, the business next door was having vital repairs done and I am sure the machine was not there for your entire stay. We are lucky to have ample parking in the back of the property, which is also convenient to the rear entry.
Again, thank you for the feedback. I will be addressing some of your concerns as soon as possible.
Travel safely!
