BlackBerry Lodge is incredible! The cabin is charming and clean, with all the amenities you need. It’s a perfect blend of being in the woods and on a lake. It’s secluded enough that you don’t hear any neighbors and truly feel like you’re getting away, but grocery stores and restaurants are a quick 10 min or less drive away. The lake was beautiful, we spent our days relaxing on the lake-swimming, fishing, kayaking, and enjoying the wildlife. Our dogs loved it too! The large porch is perfect for enjoying coffee on lazy mornings or during a rainy portion of the day. Andrew was a fantastic host and we can’t wait to come back and visit again.

Blackberry Lodge is a uniquely fantastic VRBO property! The custom-made log cabin exterior and much of the interior reflects old world craftsmanship at its best. We had a wonderful family weekend at the lodge, enjoying kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, paddle boating, fishing, and quiet moments on the spectacular porch overlooking the tranquil woods. We used the deluxe gas grill to prepare supper every night at the lodge. The interior was warm and welcoming with the choice of furniture and decor all combining for a charming lake house aesthetic. All rooms, especially the kitchen and bathrooms, were very clean. The owner was easy to contact and readily responded to any questions we had. We feel so fortunate to have found this property on the Vrbo website. Our dog loved it too - she had an especially wonderful time splashing around in the shallow part of the lake! We will definitely be back in the future!

The cabin was tucked away in the woods and very quiet. The rooms were very clean and the owners had all of the comforts of home. There was very little we needed to bring.

Had a great weekend getaway with the kids and dogs! The cabin was absolutely beautiful and the location was perfect. We enjoyed walking the trails, fishing, and canoeing on the lake. Great place for spending quality time together.

Perfect family getaway!

We had so much fun at this beautiful cabin in the woods. The cabin had everything we needed. Everyone loved all the water toys on the lake, campfire, hiking, games, and hanging on the porch. Perfect family getaway. So relaxing!

Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee listening to the leaves rustling in the wind. Take a nature walk. Explore. Dive into the crystal clear spring fed water from our raft. Let the sand run through your toes on our private beach. Watch the many colorful birds visit our feeders. Play board games from our free selection. Take a canoe ride around the lake. Go fishing.

Visit the rock quarry park in Redgranite and swim in the deep quarry lake. Play horseshoes in our sandy horseshoe pit. Explore the antique shops of Wautoma, Wild Rose, or Berlin and Amish country where quilts, baked goods, furniture, and crafts are sold. Build a fire in our custom limestone fire pit. Throw some steaks on our large stainless steel grill. Have a glass of wine. Relax. Take a 5 minute drive to Nordic Mountain resort, ski or tube in the winter, hike the awesome trails, or take the exciting mountain bike paths in the summer. Listen to great music from Pandora. Watch the birds. Read a book on the deck. Hear that? Silence. Build a night fire and roast some marshmallows. Warm up next to our cozy stone gas fireplace. Visit the log bar in the hut for 'cocktail hour.' Sit on the screened in porch watching the fire. Look at the awesome stars. No city lights here. Take a bike ride on the country tree lined roads. Walk to the lake at night to see the Milky Way. Re-connect with your family and friends!
