Idyllic 3-Bedroom Lake Front Cottage on Ford Lake
This cottage is perfect for a weekend away or a relaxing week long vacation.
Three cozy bedrooms with trundles, plus a pull out couch, it easily sleeps 8 people.
There are two full bathrooms along with a full kitchen, tv and wifi.
The outdoor space has a patio, grill, picnic table, and a bonfire pit. A small fishing boat and kayaks are available upon request and with proper license. Ford Lake also has a public boat launch.
Downtown Fountain is about 10 minutes drive with a fully equipped gas station.
Ford Lake is about 30 minutes from Ludington which has plenty of local shops, restaurants, Lake Michigan beach and a cute downtown. The cottage is also about two hours from Traverse City or Grand Rapids depending on which direction you're headed.

Why they chose this property
They loved the up north look and feel, close enough to town but also remote enough to have peace and quiet and enjoy the stars! The lake is a nice and clean, spring fed lake.
