Local activities include hiking, golfing, strolling beautiful beaches, shopping at downtown shops, climbing beautiful sand dunes, or simply relaxing at the beach or on the beautiful deck outside, or enjoy a nice fire outside (firewood provided).
Rainy day, no problem, enjoy the spacious master bedroom and master bath garden tub, while the kids play pool, board games, or watch tv.
Look forward to exploring Lake Michigan's endless wonders in Ludington and Manistee or stick close to home and fish on Hackert Lake, just a short walk from the front door.

The house was very clean and comfortable and we had privacy but the hosts were very helpful with any questions we had. Our dog did step on an inground hornets nest and got stung but thankfully she was ok. Thank you for a beautiful week.

No Place Like THEIR Home

The home was perfect. It was exactly what we needed. We were not able to be at the house much due to obligations, but hope to come back and utilize their many amenities. House was super clean. Host was available as needed. They left a welcome gift. It was great!

Spacious and clean

We loved our stay. The house was clean and we loved all the space. There were plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans, and space for our groceries. Loved the updated appliances. We learned a new game from the selection of games provided. We were thankful for so many extra towels in the bathrooms. Overall we were really comfortable and happy that the house was close to Ludington yet the location was private. We would recommend Hackert Lake House to friends and we would like to come again for another stay.

Thanksgiving getaway

We had a great time and came down to visit family for thanksgiving. The hosts were awesome and the communication was great. Overall would definitely recommend the house is in a great location.

We spent a week at Jordan's house. Everything was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed watching deer and turkeys that made daily visits to the yard. We would stay again!

Wonderful stay!!

This was the perfect location for us to enjoy some time at Lake Michigan. It was comfortable and very clean. We loved the yard games, the fire pit, the TV setup with surround sound, and the pool table. We didn't care that it rained a little, because we had a great time whether we were inside or out.

Nice place to stay, large outdoor space, owner was great. Close to Ludington and Manistee. Cute boating, tubing, and fishing lake across the street. Would definitely stay here again.

Can’t wait to come back

Communication with the property manager was great and they were quick to answer any questions we had. The house is in the perfect location for us, close to Meijer & Walmart and a quick drive to the beach but still has plenty of privacy with a wooded area surrounding the property.
