This was our third year here for a week. We love love the new deck and siding! Such a treasure I hate sharing how much we love this place for fear it will be booked up when I want to stay. Very homey and comfortable! It’s the next best thing to owning the place myself. ur favorite place to get away for a peaceful week. And our dogs come too because they love the big back yard and sitting on the river deck watching the fish go by. A++
Annual Cousins trip to the river was another great experience! Loved the new porch, house looked great with the updated paint as well. This is such a great long weekend for all of us! Can’t wait till next year!

My wife and daughter wanted to see the beach and hit some shops. Quick 40 minute drive and they were happy! My son and I wanted to try trout fishing. Walk out the back door and we caught some trout and a nice king. There is NO cell service (AT&T) or wifi but, thanks to the HUGE DVD collection at the house and some games we brought from home, everyone was happy and entertained! This house would make for a great fishing cabin or a nice family getaway. We are already talking about next year’s trip!
We stayed at the cabin on the river . We saw some salmon in the river behind the cabin but we fished the same location that we always have for years. Loved the cabin and all the convenient things that it had . It was not far from a nice sports bar with live entertainment. The only thing that would have made it better was if it Wi-Fi but we didn’t really miss it.id stay there again.
Beautiful place! Clean an tidy an all the extra things you don’t think to bring they had available perfect place for our family! Will stay again in future!
Third year at this beautiful property. We absolutely love it here. Kayaking, and relaxing on the beautiful deck. Short drive to nice beaches on Lake Michigan
We had a lovely time relaxing at the cabin. The boys enjoyed fishing off the dock, and we loved eating out on the back deck. The beds were all comfy and the view of the stars at night was amazing. We would stay again for sure!
Everything about the house is perfect. The newly built deck is amazing. The stairs that lead down to river is awesome. It has all the amenities you need. Overall, it’s a clean, small, cozy cottage home, a place where you can get away and unwind. I definitely would like to come back next year in the spring or fall.
This is truly a superb property located on the South Branch of the Pere Marquette River.
The new deck is beautiful, and compliments the open interior of the cottage. What a comfortable place!
I consider this to be a great find, and highly recommend this property for your next stay along the "PM" river!
Really beautiful property. The house is well supplied. But the deck…it’s huge and, very recently done. Spent most of our time there. Enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back!
My wife and I spent a week here and loved it. Location is right on the river and ~30 minutes from Ludington. Property was exactly as described, and owner was helpful answering any questions. Limited cell service, which was a blessing to make it a peaceful week up North.
Loved it. Everything was as described. Great! Definitely would return

Nice cabin
The cabin was clean and very cute. I did find irritating the lack of cell reception. The lack of reception and wifi needs to be clearly spelled out in the listing before booking.
We had a wonderful sibling's weekend here with a group from 40yo-7yo. We love the natural setting. The cabin is well-equipped. We had a movie night each night with the large collection of DVDs. We also brought our own tubes and took advantage of the river. WIFI is sparse, but that actually was an advantage when engaging our teen and tweens. We loved this place.
Our stay was fantastic! The house is even better than it appeared on the photos! It was clean and well stocked. I requested a blender and the owner delivered one for me to use. It is such a peaceful, safe and relaxing location!
Comfortable and quiet, there were minor inconveniences related to no wireless and cell service, but that also meant that we were not disturbed during our stay, and when my granddaughter and I went out it was easy to catch up.
The another inside and out at the cabin was wonderful. The yard gave us opportunities for yard games and the river gave us the opportunity to tube and kayak. The deck was awesome. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals with a surplus of coffee, paper towel and toilet paper. The cabin was very well stocked. Since there is no cell service, I would have liked to have had internet mostly to check weather, look up activities, directions and communicate with our group. The bedrooms were tight, but adequate. The mattresses had nice toppers on them but could stand to be replaced. We would stay here again.
Such attention to detail. Well stocked with thoughtful and generous afterthought. The cottage was comfy, the new deck beautiful, the river splendid. I found a short trail across the road. Hope to return.
