Escape to the cozy comforts of the Chardonnay Chalet, a beautifully wooded property located on a private road—perfect for a relaxing getaway. This charming 3-bedroom, 1-bath chalet accommodates couples, families, or groups, with flexible sleeping arrangements for up to 10 guests. Enjoy real beds: 1 king, 3 queens, and 2 twins, plus a glider rocker and playpen/crib for infants or toddlers.

Located just 3 miles from the boat launch (featuring a small beach), you can easily spend your days on the water or exploring nearby lakes. Bring your ORVs or snowmobiles and ride straight from the cottage to the trails, with plenty of parking for trailers. World-class fishing for trout, salmon, and steelhead is available in the renowned Pere Marquette, Pine, Big Manistee, and Little Manistee Rivers, with excellent pan fishing in local lakes. Golf courses and restaurants are within a mile, and kayak or canoe trips are easy to arrange locally.

Inside, you’ll find comforts for every season: central air conditioning, forced air heat, a pellet stove for cozy nights, a hot tub, and a screened in room. The state-of-the-art Culligan water softener and rust removal system ensures clear, clean water for cooking and bathing. Each bedroom is equipped with a smart TV, and a DVD player is in the living room along with a selection of movies for private downtime. High-speed WiFi keeps you connected, so you can stay in touch or stream your favorite shows.

Security is provided by Ring cameras on the front yard and backyard/shed only. For your safety and comfort. We ask that you please provide an accurate head count when booking.

We’ve stayed at quite a few rentals and this how had the best stocked kitchen in terms of utensils and appliances. Beds were comfortable and the Hot tub was perfect!

Great Fishing Trip with my Son

The rental was clean and had everything that we needed. While it wasn’t right on a lake it was within 45 minutes of many different lakes. Big Star was just a few minutes away. We fished a different one each day and caught nice ones at each lake. The owners were very responsive to needs and questions. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. We were happy with the rental!

We have been looking for a property that we felt had all the requirements for our vacation home. It is our goal to make this your favorite vacation spot too.

We are Michigan residents living in Zeeland. The short drive for us allows us a great vacation spot for a quick get-a-way, less then 2 hours. We are family that enjoys the outdoors and all the beauty that Michigan has to offer. We hope that sharing our home with you is a blessing to your family.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the view, nature at its best, especially from the three season room. Our family likes to four wheel and snow mobile on the hundreds of miles Baldwin (Lake County) has to offer. We also enjoy the golf coarse right around the corner. We are close enough to home but far enough away to feel like a vacation. The home offers all the amenities you get at home without the stress.

What makes this property unique

The three season room, beautiful deck and hot tub over looking the fire pit area, open concept home, a huge sleeping loft, 60 inch high definition TV with satellite, and internet. It's just a great location! State of the art water filtration system by Culligan for pure clean, soft water without rust.
