Home away from home with all the amenities. Very comfortable and peaceful with a great view of private Whalen lake. Close to town. Stayed 2.5 weeks for work but would also be a wonderful family or couples getaway. Did a little kayaking and fishing. Definitely recommend.

Jazzy Weekend

We were coming to the area for some jazz concerts and needed a place to stay. The house was perfect for our needs. Quiet, spacious with a beautiful lake. Would visit again.

Very homey feeling! Very nice and quiet neighborhood! Everything was there that was needed for a short trip. Close to other things in town. Definitely would stay here again if in the area!

Spectacular

We were attending a small family reunion and we totally enjoyed sitting by the lake on the wonderful deck with our coffee in the morning and adult beverages later in the day. It was so peaceful and just a great spot to relax and enjoy!

Quiet Lake getaway

Nice cozy house on private lakefront. Great getaway for wife and I to decompress on our anniversary. We even saw a few woodpeckers while we took in the lakefront view. Great host and experience. We look forward to coming back again. BTW I highly recommend eating at Woodys Pizza!

The property was very nice. The hosts were friendly and helpful.We had problems with the SMART TV accessing wi-fi or cable so it was difficult to watch tv unless we hooked it up to a personal computer.

We had a wonderful stay here ! Right on the lake. The dog and kids got to swim all the time. Very close to ORV trails. Great place to stay ! We hope to come back !
