The hosts were great and extremely accommodating. Although the decor is somewhat dated, the space was surprisingly spacious and very cozy. Adding blinds in the living room would be a nice improvement, but aside from that, we truly enjoyed our stay. The property is quiet and and very private.

Our stay was everything we had hoped for during our evening in East Chatham. The apartment was easily accessible and expansive with everything we needed (multiple seating areas, full kitchen, two bathrooms)to enjoy our time in the area. Briefly meet our friendly hosts to express our appreciation for their beautiful setting and hospitality. As a Haan, especially enjoyed their rooster theme.

A basement apartment

The owner was lovely, warm and helpfull. The apartment was in the basement which we were surprised about as It is not listed in the description. The apartment was too cold and there was no way to adjust the ac. Also the were many places in the apartment that were marked “private” which was disconcerting. We went to Tanglewood which was about a half hour away. It was a beautiful drive and a convenient place to stay.

There is no air conditioning because the basement apartment temperature stays cool even in the hottest weather. However, there are three thermostats (pictured in the Guest Book) throughout the apartment for the baseboard heaters.
