The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please empty bathroom and kitchen garbage cans into a garbage bag and place inside of the bear bin. Please ensure bear bin remains closed/ locked at all times. Collection day is MONDAY.
DO NOT PUT ANY recyclables other than washed paper / cardboard/ glass into the blue recycle bin. Recycle pick up is only every other Monday, and if unwashed Recyclables are left in the bin… bears come
Dispose of pet waste in a bag and place in the bear bin. Please wash all dishes and silverware and leave to dry If BBQ was used, please ensure that it is scrubbed with brush & propane is off.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Joseph’s place was excellent! We stayed for 2.5 months from Jan to March and this was such an amazing cabin. The location is great right in between Heavenly village and the California lodge. You can walk to the village. The house is also a 5 minute walk from a shuttle stop. Such a great spot for skiing Heavenly!Joseph is super friendly and responsive! He was also so thoughtful providing a wonderful welcome gift of snacks, drinks and fresh flowers!! The cabin itself is well stocked and has lovely decor and furnishings. Really comfy beds!One thing to note is there is no dishwasher.Would highly recommend this cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It was perfect for our 30 day stay over the holidays. The location is incredible—less than five min drive to Heavenly, 15 min walk to Heavenly Village/Target, and 10 min walk to a great coffee shop. Also a short drive to the lake and other great spots in South Lake Tahoe. The house was comfortable for two people and a dog. Although there are two bedrooms, it would be better suited to a family instead of two couples based on the size for a long stay. Totally suitable for two couples for a short stay. Backyard was great and fully fenced (the front fences/gates are lower than the rest if you have a tall dog/jumper.) Host was incredibly responsive and helpful—he allowed us to stay an extra day when a large storm was coming through on our planned departure day. Overall, would absolutely stay again!
