The property is beautifully and completely remodeled. Enjoy the 4 bedrooms and the beautiful kitchen. You could have a large dinner gathering in the ample dining room. A perfect location if you’re visiting in the Willimantic area. We will be booking this location again for our annual family reunion.
We had a great stay and hope to return in the future! The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable as well as convenient to Willmantic and Storrs. The owner was always available and helpful. I would highly recommend this property!
The house is newly and very tastefully renovated, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. Other than salt and pepper there were no "consumables" that we could find (e.g. spices, plastic wrap). The neighborhood was pretty quiet and Willimantic (new to me) is very, very cool.

Thank you so much for the kind words! We are thrilled you enjoyed the space and got to experience Willimantic. It truly is a gem.
We really appreciate the honest feedback on the kitchen consumables. We do our best to keep essentials stocked including spray oils, and we take all guest feedback seriously. We have actually already ordered a spice rack for the home to make future stays even more comfortable. Items like plastic wrap and aluminum foil are things we leave to guests to bring based on their individual needs, but we will make sure that is clearly noted so there are no surprises.
We hope to welcome you back again soon!
Great house for family visit with our USCG cadet. The owners were very flexible and responsive to our needs. The property was clean and spacious we will use again!

Very nice property for a group. Everything is updated and modern in the house. The host was responsive with any questions I had. I would definitely recommend.
The home was a perfect retreat for a quiet night in while visiting our daughter at UConn. Despite being a pet-friendly property, you’d never know there was ever a pet in the house. Everything was exceptionally clean, orderly and comfortable. Would highly recommend
This house was one of the most beautifully appointed rental I have ever stayed in! The location is excellent with good stores and restaurants nearby. We loved the decoration, the lighting, the kitchen supplies--all of it. The owners are very thoughtful in anticipating their renters' needs. Linens and towels were amazing, and the beds were very comfortable. The only drawback (which was not an issue for us, but could be for others) was that all 4 bedrooms are upstairs with only one full bath there. The other full bath (a gorgeous one!) is downstairs. Again, not an issue for us, but not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The laundry was useful, and the back deck/table was nice on our one sunny day. The parking was excellent. Thanks to Karl for his prompt reply to my issue with the door code and for maintaining such a beautiful house. I would love to come back again when I'm next in the Coventry/Wyndham/Willimantic area. Thanks!!
I’ve stayed at a lot of VRBOs over the years, but this one in Willimantic is by far the best experience I’ve ever had. The house had absolutely everything we needed and more, they even had brand new deck furniture ready for us to enjoy. The bed was hands-down the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in at a VRBO or hotel, and the whole environment just felt welcoming and relaxing. At night, you could hear the frogs out in the woods, which gave such a unique and peaceful vibe, it really made the stay memorable. The owners clearly care about keeping the place in top shape and making sure guests feel at home. It was also the cleanest ever. I can honestly say this is the most amazing VRBO I’ve been to, and I would come back in a heartbeat.

We’re thrilled to hear your stay in Willimantic was your best VRBO experience yet! We take great pride in keeping the home spotless, welcoming, and stocked with everything guests need, from brand-new deck furniture to ultra-comfortable beds. The peaceful setting, complete with the sounds of the frogs at night, is one of our favorite touches too. We’d love to host you again anytime!
We very much enjoyed our stay at this property! It is newly renovated and beautifully furnished. Our young children loved finding all of the “silly” frogs featured throughout the home, and we loved the historic maps of the area. The owners really thought of everything when stocking the kitchen, and added touches throughout to make your stay more comfortable. The dimming lights, USB outlets, and built-in bathroom Bluetooth speaker were very nice extras. The kids loved the yard, eating outside on the deck, and the Roku TV. It was a homey and comfortable place to return to everyday. Karl was an incredibly responsive and welcoming host. A truly wonderful experience all around, and highly recommend!

What a great place to stay when visiting the UCONN area of Connecticut. The house is near Willimantic, just over the Frog Bridge and it is near a myriad of great restaurants and even a wonderful COOP supermarket. The house was immaculate and well appointed with a great flat screen TV with all the streaming options; lots of comfortable places to sit. The house was all it was promised to be, comfortable with an AC unit in every room and ceiling fans throughout the house. We have family in CT and this is the best residence we have found to stay in by far. Communicating with the owner/host was easy and immediate; the was a joy to interact with. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. My highest compliments to the owner and the cleaning staff, I wouldn't change a thing.

So glad you enjoyed your stay, it’s wonderful to hear our house was comfortable and well appointed for your visit. I’ll pass your compliments along to the cleaning team, and we’d be pleased to host you again whenever you’re back in the area.
Really enjoyed this VRBO. It was so clean. Check in was smooth and easy. The aesthetic vibe and decor was the perfect extra touch! Loved all the frog decor. Appliances and fixtures were all up to date for an older built home. We enjoyed the cards and games the house had to offer on a rainy night and the walk to town was maybe 10-15 minutes which took us to breakfast places in the AM and in the PM a brewery and little dive bar with a pool table.
Everything about the place was excellent other than one bed that had a thin mattress and pillows that were too firm and felt inflated. The mattresses on the bed were not on box springs, so the support wasn’t great, but only one was uncomfortable. There was also some street noise at night. Otherwise, the house was very clean and decorated nicely, and the host was very responsive. Showers and water pressure were excellent. Overall I would recommend, with a caution about the one thin mattress.

Thank you for the kind words and for taking the time to leave a review! We’re glad you enjoyed the cleanliness, decor, and responsiveness throughout your stay. We do want to address the mattress feedback for the benefit of future guests. Our beds are equipped with Zinus hybrid mattresses, which are highly rated and specifically engineered for use on platform bed frames with slatted support, no box spring required. According to Zinus directly, their slatted platform system provides optimal support, airflow, and actually extends the lifespan of the mattress compared to traditional box spring setups. As for the pillows, they do have protective covers on them which can sometimes change the feel slightly, but we find most guests love the setup. Street noise can vary depending on the time of year and local activity, and we appreciate you noting that. We strive to provide a 5-star experience for every guest and truly appreciate the feedback!
