Nature & Environment
One of the most memorable parts of staying in a Broken Bow cabin is being surrounded by nature. Because this property is located in a wooded setting, guests may encounter wildlife and seasonal elements during their stay.

Deer, squirrels, raccoons, turkeys, and other native wildlife are commonly seen throughout the area. The cabin is professionally treated for pests, though occasional insects such as spiders, mosquitoes, beetles, ladybugs, or wasps may still appear, particularly during seasonal transitions or rain.

During spring months, pollen from surrounding pine trees may collect on outdoor surfaces despite cleaning efforts before arrival.

Keeping doors and screens closed whenever possible helps maintain a comfortable indoor environment throughout your stay.

We encourage guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while remaining respectful of neighboring cabins and the natural environment. Sound travels easily throughout the forested area.

What To Bring
We recommend bringing groceries, condiments, cooking oils and seasonings, personal toiletries, coffee and creamers, bug spray for mosquitoes and ticks, ice, and firewood with fire starters for the outdoor firepit.

The house was nice. It definitely needs some TLC. The patio had not been cleaned in several weeks it was covered in dirt and the outdoor patio furniture cushions were nasty and stained. The coffee cups were ALL chipped bad enough you had to watch so you didn’t cut your mouth. It’s listed as a chief’s kitchen and the pots and pans were terrible and scratched up plus a few were dirty not washed after use. The kitchen is a far cry from Chief’s kitchen. The ice maker was also broken which we just bought ice but still should have been working. The deck was nice but dirty.
